10 Things We Liked About 'Stranger Things' Season 5 Vol. 1, and 4 Things We Didn't

The wait is finally over, and Stranger Things Season 5 Vol. 1 has arrived, bringing with it a plethora of exciting moments that will keep fans hooked until the grand finale on December 31.

One of the standout aspects of the season is Will's connection to the hive mind. His ability to tap into this shared consciousness makes him a valuable asset in the battle against Vecna, allowing him to spot incoming threats and ultimately become a game-changer in the fight. This development has been a long time coming, but it's clear that the Duffer Brothers have finally gotten it right.

The radio station is another highlight of the season. Robin's work as a DJ allows her to send covert messages to the team, while also serving as a way for the characters to bond and share moments of levity amidst the chaos. The nostalgic value of the 80s-inspired music and the use of radio signals to track down enemies adds a fun layer of excitement to the season.

On the other hand, there are some aspects that didn't quite hit the mark. Jonathan's obsession with Steve is tiresome and feels like a rehashing of old drama. The lack of explanation for Henry Creel's origin story was also disappointing, given the fanbase's interest in understanding more about his backstory.

However, when it comes to character development and relationships, Stranger Things truly shines. Will and Robin's connection is heartwarming and authentic, while Steve and Dustin's dynamic remains one of the most beloved aspects of the show. Max's return as a hero in her own right is also a welcome addition, and her bond with Eleven is particularly sweet.

The chemistry between the characters has always been a highlight of Stranger Things, but this season takes it to new heights. From Will's psychic powers to Eleven's training montage, each character's growth and development feels earned and satisfying.

As the series hurtles towards its conclusion, fans will be eager to see how everything comes together. With more episodes to come and the grand finale just around the corner, it's clear that Stranger Things Season 5 Vol. 1 is shaping up to be an unforgettable ride.

I'm loving the nostalgia factor with the radio station πŸ“»πŸŽ΅ - it's so cool how they're using 80s-inspired music to bring back memories while also serving as a way for the characters to connect on a deeper level. And I totally agree that Will's connection to the hive mind is a game-changer πŸ”πŸ’‘, his abilities are getting more and more interesting with each episode. The character development this season is top-notch 🀩, especially with how they're handling the relationships between Steve, Dustin, Max, and Eleven ❀️. My only gripe is that some plot points feel a bit rushed or underexplained (looking at you, Henry Creel's origin story πŸ€”), but overall I'm super hyped for the rest of the season!

πŸ€” I'm still trying to wrap my head around Will's new connection to the hive mind πŸ“Š. It feels like a game-changer for the show, but also kinda raises so many questions? Like, how does it work exactly? And what's the limit of his control over it? It's definitely exciting to see him use it in battle, but I'm curious to see how they'll explore this concept further as the season goes on 🀯.

The radio station aspect is a nice touch, though πŸ“». I love how Robin's DJ skills add an extra layer of tension and excitement to the show. And can we talk about Steve and Dustin's dynamic for a sec? πŸ˜‚ Those two are always good for some laughs. But, on a more serious note, I do wish they'd explained Henry Creel's origin story better πŸ€”.

What really got me, though, was how well the characters are developing this season πŸŽ‰. Will and Robin's connection is so sweet, and Steve and Dustin's friendship remains one of my faves. And Max's return as a hero is awesome! I'm just hoping the finale lives up to the hype πŸ’₯.

Omg I'm so hyped for the rest of season 🀩! I love how Will's connection to the hive mind is finally utilized to make him a more integral part of the team. And can we talk about Robin's DJ skills tho? It's such a cool way to show their resourcefulness and add some fun vibes to the show 😎. On the flip side, I'm kinda over Jonathan's drama with Steve already - let's move on from that πŸ™„. The only thing that would make this season perfect is more backstory for Henry Creel... come on Duffer Bros! πŸ’‘

I'm loving the vibes of season 5 already! 🀩 The way they're exploring Will's connection to the hive mind is so cool and it's awesome to see him become a game-changer in the fight against Vecna. And omg, I'm all about Robin's DJ skills and how she gets to send secret messages to her friends πŸ’β€β™€οΈπŸ“». The nostalgic value of the 80s music is also giving me life! 🎡 But yeah, some plot points are still a bit murky for me... like what happened with Henry Creel's backstory πŸ€”. Can't wait to see how it all ties together in the end πŸ’₯

🀯 I am literally FREAKING OUT over the new season of Stranger Things!!! The hive mind thing with Will is EVERYTHING and more! It's about time they finally got it right, tbh. And don't even get me started on the radio station, I'm OBSESSED with Robin's DJ vibes 🎡πŸ’₯. But, ugh, Jonathan's obsession with Steve is SO tiresome... like, can't we move on already?! 😴

And, what's up with Henry Creel's origin story?! We're still left in the dark and it's so frustrating. BUT, on a more positive note, Will and Robin's connection is giving me LIFE ❀️, Steve and Dustin's dynamic is still my fave, and Max's return as a hero is everything I've been waiting for πŸ™Œ.

The chemistry between the characters is always on point in Stranger Things, but this season takes it to a whole new level. The character development is so satisfying and I'm literally hooked until the finale 🀯. Can't wait to see what's next!

omg i'm so here for will's connection to the hive mind 🀯πŸ’₯ it's like they finally got the point of his powers right! and robin's radio station thingy is so underrated πŸ”ŠπŸŽ΅ steve and dustin are still my favorite ship tho πŸ’• but seriously, max's return as a hero is everything πŸ’ͺ eleven's training montage had me dying πŸ˜‚ and i'm lowkey annoyed that jonas' obsession with steve is just gonna be there πŸ€·β€β™€οΈ can't wait to see what the rest of the season has in store! πŸ‘€

I'm more of a chill show, you know? I recently binge-watched a show on my phone while waiting for my coffee β˜•οΈ and got so invested in this one character's storyline that I started imagining the world from their perspective... anyway, back to Stranger Things – have you guys ever noticed how 80s music just takes you back to a different time? Like, I was listening to some old Bon Jovi and suddenly I was 16 again 🀣. It's crazy how shows like this can transport us to another era.

omg u guys season 5 vol 1 was EVERYTHING!!! 🀯 i love how will's connection to the hive mind is finally being utilized, and robin's role as a DJ is everything πŸ’– i'm also loving max's return and her bond with eleven is so sweet 😍 but idk about jonathan's drama with steve it felt like they were just rehashing old stuff πŸ€·β€β™€οΈ anyway cant wait for the next ep and the finale on new years eve πŸŽ‰πŸ•°οΈπŸ’₯

I'm so stoked for Season 5! Will's hive mind connection is literally game-changing πŸ”₯. I love how they're using radio signals as a way to track down enemies - it's like something out of a sci-fi movie πŸ“». And can we talk about Steve and Dustin's dynamic? Those two are still my favorite duo πŸ’•. The 80s music vibes are on point too, adding an extra layer of nostalgia to the show 🎡. I'm really happy with how Will and Robin's connection is being explored - it's so sweet πŸ‘«. The only thing that bugged me was Jonathan's obsession with Steve...it felt a bit forced 😐. Overall though, this season is shaping up to be EPIC! πŸ’₯

I'M SO EXCITED FOR STRANGER THINGS SEASON 5 VOL 1!!! 🀩πŸ”₯ I loved how they finally explored Will's connection to the hive mind, it added a whole new level of depth to his character! And Robin's role in the radio station was a genius move, it was so cool to see her send secret messages to the team while also getting them pumped up for battle πŸ“»πŸ’₯ The nostalgic value of the 80s music was on point too πŸŽ΅πŸ‘ But yeah, I was kinda meh about Jonathan's obsession with Steve, it felt like old drama rehashed 😴 And where's Henry Creel's origin story?! Come on guys! πŸ’β€β™€οΈπŸ” Anyway, Will and Robin's bond was SO CUTE πŸ€— and Eleven's training montage was EPIC πŸ‹οΈβ€β™€οΈ Can't wait to see how everything unfolds in the next episodes!!! πŸ”œ

πŸŽ₯ I'm loving how they've deepened Will's character in this season 🀯 his connection to the hive mind is a game-changer! πŸ’₯ And can we talk about Steve and Dustin's dynamic? πŸ˜† it's still one of the best parts of the show, hands down. But what's up with Jonathan's obsession with Steve? feels like they're rehashing old drama πŸ˜’. Anyway, I'm hyped for the rest of the season 🀩 can't wait to see how everything comes together on New Year's Eve πŸŽ‰

I'm not sure if I love or hate the way they're handling Will's connection to the hive mind πŸ€”... on one hand, it's so cool and intense, but at the same time, it feels like they're overexplaining it and making it too convenient πŸ˜’. And don't even get me started on Jonathan's obsession with Steve - I think it's kinda sweet, but also a bit whiny πŸ™„... but on the other hand, it's been done before, so maybe that's why it feels like a repeat πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ. Overall, though, I'm super excited for this season and can't wait to see how everything unfolds! πŸŽ‰
