Drone Strike in Darfur: A Pattern of Impunity for Sudan's Paramilitary Forces A recent drone strike by Sudan's army on a traditional court session in Ghara al Zawiya village has left 35 people dead and dozens more injured.

The attack, which occurred despite the presence of international observers and warnings from human rights groups, is the latest in a long series of egregious abuses committed by the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces (RSF) against civilians in Darfur.

The RSF's control over most of Darfur has been marked by atrocities on a massive scale.
