What To Watch This Weekend: New Shows And Movies To Stream On Netflix, Hulu, Prime Video, Apple TV And More

If you're like me, and the snow is piling up outside your window this weekend, then it's time to break out the blankets, grab a cup of hot cocoa, and indulge in some binge-watching.

For TV fans, there are several exciting new shows hitting streaming platforms this week. On Prime Video, Critical Role has unleashed its latest adult animated fantasy series, "The Mighty Nein." Based on the popular D&D podcast, the show follows a group of heroes as they embark on thrilling adventures and face formidable foes.

Another highly anticipated release is Season 2 of "A Man On The Inside," a delightful cozy mystery that stars Ted Danson. The first season was a standout in its genre, and with a talented cast and clever plot twists, there's no reason to believe the sequel won't be just as enjoyable.

On Netflix, film buffs can look forward to two new movies: "Train Dreams" and "One Shot With Ed Sheeran." Denis Johnson's novella adaptation "Train Dreams" is a quiet, meditative tale of love and loss, starring Joel Edgerton and Felicity Jones. The other movie is an unorthodox live show featuring the singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran as he strolls through New York City, chatting with strangers and having impromptu musical moments.

In theaters this weekend, fans of fantasy can catch "Wicked: For Good," a sequel to the beloved Broadway adaptation. While it may not live up to the original's standards, it still has its charms and is worth watching on the big screen.

For those who enjoy interactive storytelling, I highly recommend checking out "Dispatch," an innovative new series that combines elements of both TV and video games. It's a true masterpiece of the superhero genre, so even if you're not a gamer at heart, this one is definitely worth exploring.

Last but not least, keep an eye out for upcoming releases in the coming weeks and months, as there are many exciting titles on the horizon. Whether it's a new season of your favorite show or a highly anticipated movie event, there's always something to look forward to when it comes to streaming entertainment.

So grab some snacks, get cozy, and indulge in some quality binge-watching time this weekend!

omg i just saw the cutest video of a puppy riding a skateboard online 🐶💨 it was like 2 seconds but it made my whole day lol what's with these new shows on prime tho? have you seen any good ones recently? i've been meaning to start watching critical role but haven't gotten around to it yet, guess i'll just add it to the ever growing list of things i need to watch 📺😂

can't believe they're releasing a new season of "A Man On The Inside" already 🤯. first season was so good, i'm worried about how they'll top it 😅. anyway, if you're looking for something to watch while it's snowing outside, these shows and movies sound like great options 📺. just hope they don't disappoint 🙏

"Life begins at the end of your comfort zone." 🌟🍿 Just imagine staying indoors all day with a warm cuppa and getting lost in an amazing new show or movie... sounds like the perfect excuse to me! 😊 The world outside might be snowy, but inside, it's a cozy little sanctuary. Perfect for a relaxing weekend binge-fest!

omg i cant wait 4 the new season of "a man on the inside" 🤩🍫 i've b listening to the dnd podcast w/ my friends and we r all hyped up 4 this!!! 😆 also, ed sheeran live show sounds soooo lit 🔥🎶 gotta check it out ASAP 👀

I'm not really feeling the hype for all these new shows and movies 🤔. I mean, don't get me wrong, they might be fun and all, but are we really going to need another adult animated fantasy series on Prime Video? And what's with the obsession with binge-watching during snow days? Can't people just go outside and enjoy the fresh air for once ❄️?

I'm more of a "one show at a time" kinda person. I like to pace myself and not get too caught up in all the latest releases 📺. And have you seen how many movies are coming out this month? It's like, can't we just enjoy one good film without having another one every week on Netflix? 🎥

I do think it's cool that there are so many interactive storytelling options now, though 👍. Maybe I'll give "Dispatch" a try and see if it lives up to the hype... but only if my friends join me for a virtual gaming session 🤩!
