What – if anything – did Asian countries get out of Donald Trump's whirlwind tour?

😒 I'm just not feeling the US trade deal with Malaysia 🤔. They're basically getting stuck with tariffs and regulations that might not even offset the costs 🤑. And what's in it for them, exactly? More free market access for American goods? It doesn't seem like a sweet enough deal to me 💸. And don't even get me started on the "framework" for diversifying mineral supply chains... sounds like just an excuse for US companies to get their hands on cheap resources 💎.

And Japan? 🤷‍♂️ The rare earths deal is all anyone's talking about, but I'm not convinced it's really gonna boost trade between the two countries 📈. And what about South Korea? 😳 $350 billion and a nuclear submarine deal that could lead to a chain reaction of nuclearization in north-east Asia? That just seems like a recipe for disaster 💣.

I mean, I get it, US presidents need to charm their way through trade deals and whatnot 🎩. But come on, can't they negotiate something better than this? 😂
