OMG this whole tour thing is soooo confusing ! I mean, Malaysia gets some trades with Brazil and Thailand but like what's in it for them? Meanwhile Japan gets that rare earth deal which is kinda cool I guess but is it just Trump being all charming again ? And what about the $350 billion trade deal with South Korea? Is Seoul really gonna see a huge boost from this? Can't wait to hear more about how this all plays out!
I mean, I'm not really sure what to make of this whole Donald Trump thing ... Like, yeah, those trade deals with Malaysia and Thailand might seem cool on paper, but if they're just gonna get some lip service from the US without really getting anything in return, that's kinda a letdown . I feel like Japan got off pretty easy though - I mean, China's been all over their export ban thing, so it's no wonder Trump was able to swing them a deal... but at the same time, is this just Trump being charming and not really thinking about what's best for Japan? . And don't even get me started on South Korea - $350 billion in cash investment? That sounds like a pretty sweet deal, but I'm still trying to figure out how much of it's gonna actually benefit their trade relationship with the US .
I dont know about these new deals with Asia ...some people say they'll help economies but others think its just a way for them to get more favors from the US . I mean, like what are they getting exactly? Japan got some deal on rare earths but is it really because of Trump's charm or because China stopped exporting them ? And what about that $350 billion trade deal with South Korea? Is it gonna help Seoul's economy or just give the US more cash . I wish someone could explain how all these deals are supposed to work in the long run
I'm a bit curious about how some of these deals are gonna pan out . I mean, $350 billion in cash investment is a pretty big number for South Korea, but will it actually help them trade more with the US or just make their economy dependent on American money? It's also weird that some people think Trump only signed those deals to get favor from Asian countries... doesn't he have his own agenda? Anyway, I do hope Japan gets some real benefits from that rare earths deal - they really need it right now .
I'm not sure about this whole Trump Asia thing . I mean, I know he's got some good connections with certain countries, like Japan and South Korea, but is it really worth all the fuss? It seems like most of these deals are just about securing favor with him rather than getting actual benefits for their economies. And what about the trade war with China? Did Trump's meeting with Xi Jinping really solve anything or was that just a PR stunt to look good in front of his own people ? I think we should be more critical of these deals and make sure they're actually going to help the countries involved rather than just benefiting Trump's ego .
so trump's asian trip was like a big ol' game of chinese poker where everyone's just bluffing meanwhile, malaysia and thailand are just trying to get in good with trump so they can get some decent concessions from the us - not that we're saying their trade deals are rubbish or anything... japan got some sweet rare earth deal tho but let's be real, it's probably more about trump's charm than actual concrete benefits for them and korea's $350 billion trade deal is just a big ol' number that doesn't necessarily mean anything in terms of actual economic progress and what's up with the us-china truce - did trump actually do some good or was it just a clever PR stunt?
