‘The New Big 5’: Wildlife photography book turns the lens on animals at risk | CNN

I'm kinda excited about this project 🌎💡 but also really worried that it's gonna be a drop in the ocean for wildlife conservation. I mean, 50k photos is cool and all, but what about actual action? What about governments taking concrete steps to protect habitats and stop poaching? It feels like we're just scratching the surface of this problem 🌊. Still, it's a start, right? And if it can get people thinking about the issue and maybe even inspire some change, then I'm all for it 💪

I don’t usually comment but… this photography project is giving me all the feels! The idea of highlighting five new "big five" animals that are struggling is so important. I mean, have you seen those polar bear pics? Mind blown! 🐻💥 And it's not just about the visuals – the fact that all proceeds support conservation efforts is a huge step in the right direction.

I think what really resonates with me is how this project is trying to make a point about climate change and its impact on our planet. Like, did you know one million species are facing extinction? It's crazy! 🌎 I don't think we're taking that seriously enough. The book seems like it's not just a beautiful photography showcase but also a wake-up call for us to take action.

I'm also loving the fact that indigenous communities are being highlighted in this project – their role in conservation is so vital and often overlooked. Let’s hope this project inspires people to make a difference! 🌟
