I'm so glad Disney+ has this list! I have a 6-year-old daughter who loves watching these movies with me ๐ŸŽฅ๐Ÿ‘ง, but what's crazy is how some of the older ones were made like, 30 years ago and still hold up today! The Lion King (1994) is one of our faves, we love singing along to "Hakuna Matata" together ๐ŸŽถ๐Ÿ˜‚. I've also noticed that some of these movies have become so popular that they're even being taught in schools now ๐Ÿ“š, like Beauty and the Beast's themes of acceptance and empathy are super relevant for kids today ๐Ÿ’ก. Anyway, can't wait to spend more movie nights with my kiddo!

Disney+ is literally a treasure trove of awesome movies ๐Ÿคฉ I was so stoked when it launched, and now that I've got access to all these classics, I'm rewatching some of my childhood faves ๐Ÿ˜Š The Lion King is still one of the best, you know? There's just something about Simba's journey that resonates with me. And can we talk about the music ๐ŸŽต "Hakuna Matata" is literally stuck in my head right now. I've also been watching a lot of Beauty and the Beast, Belle is like my ultimate girl crush ๐Ÿ’– Who else loves these movies?

Disney+ just released their top 20 movies list... and it's all so cheerful ๐ŸŒž๐Ÿ˜ด I mean, what about all the other classics like Aladdin or Toy Story? They're nowhere to be found! And have you seen the ratings for those old movies? Most of them are in the 60s and 70s. Not exactly the most impressive scores ๐Ÿคฆโ€โ™€๏ธ It's like they only chose movies that are popular right now, but won't be remembered in 10 years โฐ

I dont get why movies from like 90s and early 2000s are still getting so much love on disney+. Like, yes The Lion King is a classic but come on its been out for ages ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™‚๏ธ. And whats with the multiple remakes of the same movie? The 2019 one was pretty good I guess but I dont think it needed to be made again ๐Ÿ˜.

omg i feel like they got some new stuff wrong lol didnt 'the jungle book' (2016) get a 86% rating not the 1967 one ๐Ÿ™„ anyway i think its cool that disney+ is making more of their old movies available we need more classic disney on there ASAP also why no other marvel movies?? the guardians of the galaxy are my fave franchise and theyre missing from this list ๐Ÿค”

I'm loving the nostalgia vibe from this list ๐ŸŽฌ! I mean, who doesn't love a good ol' Disney classic? But what's up with all the remakes on here? The Lion King (2019) and Beauty and the Beast (1991) being listed twice is kinda weird... can we get more original content on there? ๐Ÿค” Anyway, WALL-E (2008) being at #14 is pretty cool! It's such an underrated film, but its message about humanity and the environment still resonates today ๐Ÿ’š

Disney+ is just full of classics ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™€๏ธ, right? Like, who doesn't love a 1994 movie that still holds up today? ๐Ÿ™„ And it's amazing how some movies are just rehashed versions of others, like the two Lion King remakes ๐Ÿคฏ. But hey, at least it's nice to see some older films getting the love they deserve... eventually ๐Ÿ˜’. The only thing that really jumps out at me is how many animated adaptations there are ๐ŸŽจ, but I guess that's just what happens when you have a library as deep as Disney's ๐Ÿ“š. Oh, and I'm pretty sure WALL-E is still stuck in 2008 mode ๐Ÿ‘€... anyone else think it feels like we've seen the same old environmentalist message for decades? ๐Ÿค”

Disney+ is just a distraction from all the other problems in our world ๐Ÿค•๐Ÿ’” I mean, have you seen the top 20 movies they're showcasing? They're all classics, but let's be real, most of them were made like 30 years ago and are still stuck in that old nostalgia trip. The ratings are kinda low for some of these older ones, but who cares? It's not like it's gonna change anything. And don't even get me started on the fact that they're prioritizing remakes and sequels over original content... it's just more of the same old tired stuff ๐Ÿ™„

Ugh, can you believe these ratings? Like, who needs a rating that high for The Lion King remake? ๐Ÿคฆโ€โ™‚๏ธ I mean, it's just a rehashing of the same old story with slightly better CGI. And don't even get me started on Black Panther: Wakanda Forever being ranked higher than the original Black Panther... what's wrong with giving credit where credit is due? The 2018 film was a cultural phenomenon and a game-changer for representation in superhero movies! ๐Ÿ™„

omg I'm so confused why The Lion King is in both 1994 & 2019 lol they're like two different movies idk what's up with the 2022 Black Panther ratings though it feels like a major franchise but only gets 87? 80s Guardians of the Galaxy should be way higher than that ๐Ÿค”๐Ÿ˜ I mean, who doesn't love Rocket Raccoon?!

omg i love this list!!!! i'm so down for a good disney marathon!!! ๐Ÿ˜๐ŸŽฅ my fave is gonna have to be the lion king 2019 remake - i loved the photorealistic animation ๐ŸŒ„๐Ÿ’š and idk about you but beauty and beast 1991 is like my childhood ๐Ÿค— cant wait to rewatch some of these classics! ๐Ÿ‘

It's crazy how these movies are dominating the top spots on Disney+, but let's get real for a second - what's behind this popularity? Is it just nostalgic value, or is there something more going on here?

I mean, think about it, folks! These movies are all classics, but they're also being re-released and re-reimagined in new ways. It's like the old saying goes: "you can't keep a good thing down" - Disney is milking these franchises for all they're worth.

But here's the question - at what cost? Are we just seeing a bunch of remakes and reboots, or are there actually new stories being told? And what about diversity and representation? We need to see more of our own faces on screen, not just limited to traditional Disney heroes.

And let's talk about the business side of things - who's behind these movies and what's their motivation? Is it just about making a quick buck, or is there a genuine passion for storytelling?

We need to have a conversation about the value we place on art and entertainment. Are we just consumers, or are we critical thinkers? It's time to get real about why we love Disney movies so much and what they mean to us as a society. ๐Ÿค”๐Ÿ’ญ

Disney+ has officially made my childhood a little bit longer I mean who needs new content when you have timeless classics like The Lion King and Beauty and the Beast? Those two movies still hold up today, it's crazy to think they're over 30 years old ๐Ÿคฏ 92% and 89% ratings are no joke! But what's wild is how many remakes and sequels there are for these iconic films. Is it really necessary to remake The Lion King twice in 5 years? Not me, I'm good with the original 1994 version ๐Ÿ˜‚

omg can u believe dis? all these iconic movies making it to dis list ๐Ÿคฏ๐ŸŽฅ i mean i loved watchin all dem when i was a kid and now dey still hold up ๐Ÿ™Œ 92% for The Lion King is insane, been to see it live ๐Ÿฆ and de music still gives me chills ๐Ÿ’– beauty and the beast is so underrated imo ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™€๏ธ its like people forgot how magical dey are โœจ but i guess thats just part of why dis list is so amazing ๐ŸŽ‰ overall just another reminder dat Disney got some serious magic ๐Ÿ”ฎ๐Ÿ’ซ

omg what's up with these ratings?? i mean idk if disney+ is trying 2 pull a fast one or wut but like come on 92% 4 the lion king is kinda low?? it shd b at least 95% easy lol and btw 2k17s got me w/ guardians of the galaxy vol. 2 - that score r so underrated imo
