it's like they're trying to make fans question their life choices. Sirianni's defense just saved them from certain doom with a fumble, and instead of kicking the ball away and securing the W, he chooses to throw Hail Mary on 4th down. Like, what's the logic there? did he really think Josh Jacobs was gonna magically shed his blocker and make an incredible tackle? 
I mean I love the Eagles, but coaches need a refresher course in basic game management 
. I mean, I get it, you want to go for broke and try to take the lead, but in a game like that, isn't kicking the field goal with 1:30 left on the clock just safer? It's not like they're trying to win by 50 points or anything 
. You can always try to make some magic happen downfield if you need to, but in this situation, it seemed like taking a sure thing would've been the better play 
. I'm curious to see how this one plays out and if Nick Sirianni's coaching instincts will be proven right or not... but for now, I'm just gonna say, "huh?" 
i guess you could say the eagles' defense made up for it by getting that fumble, but still what's the plan B here? kickin a field goal and callin it a night?

but what if they hadn't? woulda been a whole different story 
. You gotta be smart when the game's on the line. Kicking a field goal would've been the safe bet and got you 3 points right off the bat. Now they're scrambling to kick a 64-yarder with like 30 seconds left... it's just a mess
