SF finalizes plan to save Muni with parcel tax amid budget deficit: Here's how it would work

I think it's kinda unfair that we're gonna have to pay more on top of our rent just to keep Muni running 🤑. I get that they need funding, but $129 per year is a lot, especially for small businesses and renters who are already struggling to make ends meet 💸. And what about the cap on multi-family homes? It's not like it's gonna stop people from renting out their places or anything 🤔. But at the same time, I can understand why they need to do something since Muni is struggling so much ⏰. Maybe we should've thought of this before our city became so popular and gentrified 😬. It's not a perfect solution, but it's better than nothing, right? 🤷‍♂️
