See ‘Star Wars’ legend react to Acosta’s Darth Vader impression | CNN Business

Mark Hamill, the actor who famously played Luke Skywalker in the iconic "Star Wars" franchise, has shared his thoughts on a potential spinoff series based around his legendary character. According to CNN, during an interview, Hamill discussed his reaction to Jim Acosta's impression of Darth Vader.

Acosta, a CNN anchor, had previously done an impressions segment where he portrayed Darth Vader, and Hamill reportedly laughed off the clip when shared with him. In their conversation, Hamill joked about how "amazing" it was that someone thought they could do better than his own portrayal of the iconic character.

Hamill also expressed his gratitude towards Acosta for sharing the video, saying that it brought a smile to his face. The exchange is a testament to the enduring popularity of "Star Wars," and the lasting impact that its characters continue to have on popular culture.

As for the potential spinoff series based around Luke Skywalker, Hamill remained tight-lipped about any developments, leaving fans eagerly awaiting more news on this highly anticipated project.

I'm not sure what's up with Jim Acosta's impression of Darth Vader tho 🤣😂 he's got some serious skills, I've seen some pretty bad ones online. But for real though, it's awesome that Mark Hamill took it in stride and just enjoyed the clip. It shows how much his legacy lives on and how much people love Star Wars. The more news we get about a potential Luke Skywalker spinoff, I'm getting hyped! 🚀👍

You know, it's wild how something like an impression of Darth Vader can bring a star like Mark Hamill to life again. It's like, he was laughing with Jim Acosta, but also nodding at the fact that the character still holds such power over us. I mean, who wouldn't want to channel their inner Luke Skywalker or Darth Vader? 🤖 It's like we're all just searching for our own Jedi within... But what's interesting is that a spinoff series around Luke could be more than just a nostalgia trip - it could be an opportunity to explore the complexities of heroism and the scars that come with being a legend. Maybe we'll get to see Luke face his own darkness, and that would be truly epic 🌑

Ugh, can we talk about the forum for a sec? 🤯 I'm trying to share my thoughts about Mark Hamill's comments on a potential Star Wars spinoff series, but I keep getting interrupted by spam ads and notifications 😩. Can't we just focus on the topic at hand without all the noise? 🙄 Anyway, back to Luke Skywalker... I think it's awesome that Mark is open to exploring more of his character's story. It would be amazing to see a show that delves into his journey as a Jedi and his struggles with the dark side 🔥. But can we please just have a clean and distraction-free platform to discuss this? 🤷‍♂️

I feel like Mark Hamill is too humble 🤣, I mean, he's played one of the most iconic characters in pop culture history and he can just laugh it off when someone does an impression of him? Respect to Jim Acosta for owning his goofy side 😂. It's awesome that Luke Skywalker still has such a strong connection with fans like Hamill does too. A spinoff series sounds exciting, but I'm more worried about how they're gonna do justice to the character... I guess we'll just have to wait and see 💭. Maybe they can get Ewan McGregor or someone to guest star? That would be awesome 🚀

🤣 The guy's got a sense of humor that's out of this world... I mean, who doesn't love a good Darth Vader impression? 🦇😂 The fact that Mark Hamill can laugh at himself and not take it too seriously is what makes him a legend in the entertainment industry. It just goes to show that you don't have to be taken seriously all the time to make a lasting impact.

omg u guyz i'm literally shaking with excitement!!! mark hamill is just so hilarious and i love how he's all like "oh wow someone tried to do darth vader" lol i feel him, it's not easy to top luke skywalker's iconic performance but at least jim acosta gave it a shot 😂🤣 and can u even imagine a spinoff series centered around our beloved luke? i need more info ASAP!!!

lol what's with these impressions? I mean I get it, Jim Acosta is a skilled guy and all but come on, he can't even touch Mark Hamill's iconic Darth Vader vibes 🤣 I'm low-key impressed that Mark laughed it off though, I would've been like "what do you think you're doing?" 😂 anyway, gotta say, if there's gonna be a Luke Skywalker spinoff series, it needs to happen ASAP. The man is over 70 now and we need more of his heroics 💪

omg i cant bliev how iconic mark hamill is lol 🤣🚀 he's still bringing the heat as luke skywalker even all these yrs later! and jim acosta's impression of darth vader had me dead 🙈😂 i mean, it's amazing that someone thought they could pull off the whole "i am your father" thing better than hamill. idk if a luke skwyer spinoff series is gonna happen but whatever im down for more star wars content 🚀💫

Yooo, can u even believe how hilarious it was when Jim Acosta did that Darth Vader impression 🤣👊?! I mean, who thought they could pull off that iconic breathing sound better than Mark Hamill himself? 😂 The fact that Mark laughed about it and said it brought a smile to his face is just the best part! It's proof that even in this crazy world, Star Wars still has us all connected 💫. And now we're left wondering what kind of Luke Skywalker spinoff series could happen - I'm low-key hyped 🤔👽

Just watched Jim Acosta's Darth Vader impression 🤣😂 and I'm surprised Mark Hamill actually laughed at it! That guy's got some serious Star Wars nostalgia going on 💫. It's crazy how a character from 40+ years ago still makes people laugh like that. Can't wait to see if Luke Skywalker gets his own spinoff – if so, let's hope they do him justice 🚀👍

omg what's up with mark hamill tho? he's literally the OG luke skywalker and now everyone wanna make a spinoff series around him like what's next? 🚀💥 i'm low-key hyped but also kinda skeptical idk if they can top hamill's luke, tbh. on a lighter note, jim acosta did that sick darth vader impression tho 😂👊 and mark hamill is just the coolest for laughing it off and being all humble about it 👏💪

I think it's awesome that Mark Hamill is still having fun with Star Wars even years after the original trilogy ended 🤣. I mean, who wouldn't want to see Jim Acosta in a Darth Vader costume? 😂 It's great to see that Luke Skywalker remains an iconic character that can bring people together like that. As for the potential spinoff series, I'd love to see it happen! Can you imagine more adventures with Luke as he grows up and becomes a hero in his own right? 🤔 Let's hope we get some updates soon... 😃

I'm not sure why people are hyped for another "Star Wars" spinoff... I mean, don't get me wrong, Mark Hamill is awesome and all 🤷‍♂️, but have you seen some of the other sci-fi stuff out there? Like, what's to be excited about? It's just more of the same ol' space battles and character development 😐. And let's be real, we've already had like three or four "Star Wars" movies in the past decade alone... can't they just leave it at four? 🤦‍♂️ I'm not saying I don't love Luke Skywalker or anything, but a spinoff series just feels like more clutter to me 😅.

I don't get why they need a spinoff, it's already iconic 💫. Mark Hamill's reaction to Jim Acosta's Vader impression tho 😂👊, I love how humble he is about his own character, still bringing the funny side to the table 🤣. At the end of the day, it's all about nostalgia and fans wanting more, I'm cool with that 💯

lol, Acosta's impression of Darth Vader is actually pretty solid I've seen some epic fails in my time but that guy pulled it off 👍. Also, gotta give credit to Jim for not making fun of Mark's laugh 😂. But seriously, a Luke Skywalker spinoff series? That sounds like a great idea - can't wait to see what they come up with! Maybe we'll get some insight into Obi-Wan's backstory 🤔. One thing's for sure, it'll be interesting to see how they tackle the character development of someone as iconic as Luke. The Star Wars franchise is still going strong and I'm hyped to see what the future holds 💫

Ugh, I'm so over this Star Wars thing 🙄! Mark Hamill's been making a career out of being Luke Skywalker for decades and it's just getting old. I mean, can't he just move on to something new? A spinoff series is just going to bring back all the drama and controversy that comes with it. And Jim Acosta doing an impression of Darth Vader? Really? It's just a bunch of nostalgic nonsense 🤪...

I'm totally stoked about a potential new Star Wars series, especially if it's all about Luke Skywalker! 😊 Mark Hamill always cracks me up, and his reaction to Jim Acosta's Darth Vader impression was priceless 🤣. I mean, who wouldn't want to see a spinoff series that explores more of our favorite characters? The thing is, though, I think what really matters here is how much Star Wars means to people. It's crazy how something created decades ago can still bring so much joy and excitement to fans today 🚀. As for the potential spinoff, I'm all about it! I need more Luke Skywalker goodness in my life ASAP 👍.

I'm kinda surprised hamill is downplaying the whole luke skywalker spinoff thing 🤔. I mean, i know we can't confirm anything just yet but if it's happening then wouldn't that be awesome? imagine seeing more of luke's journey after the original trilogy 🚀. i'm also loving jim acosta's impressions skills btw 😂, who knew he had a hidden talent for darth vader impressions? this whole exchange is bringing back so many nostalgic feelings and getting me hyped for what's to come! 🚨

omg did u no mark hamill is like a total legend 🤩 and i love how he's still funny even tho he's old lol his reaction 2 jim acosta's darth vader impression was hilarious 💥 i was laughing out loud when i read that part 😂 i'm all for a luke skywalker spinoff though, i've always wanted 2 see more of his story 🤔 maybe they'll make it a show or a movie or somethin 🎬👍
