... 6:16 pm on a Wednesday evening, can't even go out without worrying about being shot? Surveillance footage isn't going to bring back the guy who was just doing his job 
. Train tracks are like an afterthought for this city's safety concerns... train stations have cameras too, why not use that info to catch bad guys instead of just relying on one spot 
It's like, what even is the point of all this senseless killing? Is it just a desperate cry for attention or something? The fact that the perpetrator fled towards the train tracks makes you wonder if they were trying to escape their own demons 
. And what about the security guard's family? They're gonna be dealing with so much pain and grief... it's just heartbreaking

it's like we're never gonna make progress on reducing gun violence... every time something like this happens, all anyone can talk about is 'it was an isolated incident' but how are they supposed to know that unless more cases like this pop up? 
and now the police are trying to catch this guy but I hope it's not just a case of 'lock him up and throw away the key'... we need to make sure he gets the help he needs too, if that's even possible...
