Second felony charge filed against former Lupe Tortilla employee, police say

A Former Lupe Tortilla Employee Facing Multiple Charges Over Bathroom Surveillance and Identity Theft.

A 31-year-old Guatemalan national, Bayson Elias Pu, has been hit with a second felony charge for allegedly using a stolen Social Security number to commit fraud. According to the Hedwig Village Police Department, Pu was initially arrested on New Year's Eve for placing cameras in a restroom at Lupe Tortilla restaurant.

The new charges come as investigators revealed that Pu had obtained a valid Social Security number belonging to a 66-year-old man from Las Vegas, which he used to commit identity theft. The victim confirmed to detectives that his SSN was being used by Pu without his consent.

Lupe Tortilla has released a statement saying they are cooperating with law enforcement and commending the employees who reported the crime to authorities. The restaurant had previously faced backlash after an incident involving a former employee accused of filming customers in the bathroom.

Pu, who worked as a dishwasher at Lupe Tortilla for approximately two years, was initially released on bond but has since been rearrested and remains in custody. This latest development highlights the severity of Pu's actions and the importance of reporting suspicious behavior to authorities.

I don't think it's too harsh to say that people like Bayson Elias Pu are just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to identity theft and surveillance gone wrong ๐Ÿค. Like, what's next? Everyone else is gonna start filming customers in the bathroom too? It's a slippery slope, you know? ๐Ÿ˜’ And yeah, Lupe Tortilla gets major props for having employees who reported the crime, but have we really changed that much since the last incident? I mean, wasn't there some kind of backlash against them already? ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™‚๏ธ Still, I guess it's good they're cooperating with law enforcement and all. But let's be real, this guy Pu is just a symptom of a bigger problem, and we need to start addressing that systemic issue if we wanna create real change ๐Ÿ”.

I mean come on, 31? That's like, super young to be messing with all that stuff ๐Ÿ™„. I'm not saying it's okay or anything, but like, most people my age are still trying to figure out how to use their phones without autocorrecting everything ๐Ÿ˜‚. Identity theft and cameras in bathrooms? What's next, breaking into people's houses while they're taking a nap? ๐Ÿคฏ I don't get why he thought it was a good idea, but like, maybe someone should've said something when he first started working there...idk. Anyway, glad Lupe Tortilla is on top of it and commending their employees for reporting the crime ๐Ÿ‘. It's just crazy that this guy got away with it for so long ๐Ÿคฆโ€โ™‚๏ธ.

I mean can you believe this dude? Putting cameras in a bathroom at Lupe Tortilla is one thing, but identity theft and all that other jazz takes it to a whole new level ๐Ÿ˜ฑ. I'm glad the employees who reported him spoke up, though - they're heroes for doing so. It's not like we want some creepy guy with a camera watching us in the bathroom, let alone using our personal info without permission. The fact that he worked at Lupe Tortilla and got trusted by people makes this even more messed up ๐Ÿคฏ. I'm all for holding people accountable for their actions, especially when it comes to protecting others' identities and safety ๐Ÿ’ฏ.

Omg this is so crazy!!! I mean, who does that? ๐Ÿ˜ฑ Using someone else's identity for fraud? And having cameras in a bathroom at Lupe Tortilla like what is wrong with people?! ๐Ÿคฏ They're trying to steal from others and take advantage of the good people. But kudos to the employee who reported it, they must be super brave! ๐Ÿ’ช The fact that Pu was working there for 2 years and still managed to get away with this is just wild. And now he's facing multiple charges? Justice will be served hopefully ๐Ÿคž.

I'm so fed up with people like Bayson Elias Pu thinking they can just abuse their position and exploit others' trust... ๐Ÿ˜ก I mean, seriously, who does that?! Using a stolen SSN to commit identity theft? It's just unbelievable. And the fact that he was filming customers in the bathroom at Lupe Tortilla restaurant is just disgusting. Can you even imagine how those people felt? ๐Ÿคข Like, what kind of person records people using the restroom without their consent?

And now this guy is facing multiple charges and still hasn't learned his lesson... ๐Ÿ˜” He's been released on bond and then rearrested again. It's like he thinks he can just game the system or something. But let me tell you, justice will be served and people like Pu will face the consequences of their actions. I'm so glad that the employees at Lupe Tortilla reported what they saw to the authorities - it could've gone unnoticed if not for those brave individuals speaking up. ๐Ÿ’ช

I'm like "how can one person be so messed up?"... I mean, it's crazy that someone would do something like that to an elderly dude... but at the same time, what if they're desperate or in a really bad situation? ๐Ÿคฏ Like, Pu was working as a dishwasher and they were struggling to make ends meet, maybe this is just an example of how far things can go when you feel like you've got no other options... BUT on the other hand, using someone's identity without their consent is just wrong... it's like, basic human decency right? ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™‚๏ธ

๐Ÿšจ๐Ÿ˜ฑ just heard about this crazy case with Bayson Elias Pu! Like, who does that?! ๐Ÿ˜‚ stealing someone's SSN and using it for identity theft? That's some messed up stuff ๐Ÿคฏ. I'm so glad Lupe Tortilla employees spoke up and reported it to the authorities - their bravery is truly inspiring ๐Ÿ’ช. This just goes to show how important it is to stay vigilant and report any suspicious activity ๐Ÿ•ต๏ธโ€โ™€๏ธ #JusticeForVictims #IdentityTheft #ReportSuspiciousActivity #LupeTortillaStrong

๐Ÿ˜• I'm glad someone got caught for this seriously creepy stuff... I mean, who installs cameras in a bathroom?! ๐Ÿคฆโ€โ™‚๏ธ But, come on, how could they not notice that weird thing? And what's up with the identity theft? It's like, super easy to check credit reports or something. I'm just glad Lupe Tortilla has some decent employees who reported this to the cops. ๐Ÿ‘ They should definitely be commended for doing their job and keeping everyone safe.

But, I gotta wonder... how did Pu even get a valid Social Security number? That's like, super hard to get. And what's going on with the investigation? Are they gonna make sure he can't do this again? ๐Ÿค” It's just weird that it took someone getting caught to make Lupe Tortilla take action after that first incident... ๐Ÿ‘€

man this story is like a big ol' lesson in accountability ๐Ÿคฏ pu thought he could just sneak around with cameras and steal someone's identity, but now he's facing multiple charges and his freedom is on the line ๐Ÿšซ. it's like we all know that what goes around comes around - if you mess with others, you gotta expect to get messed with too ๐Ÿ”„. and can we talk about how the employees who reported this to the authorities are actually heroes? they're showing us that speaking up for what's right, even if it's uncomfortable, is the best thing to do ๐Ÿ’ช. this whole situation just goes to show that our actions have consequences and that honesty and integrity really do pay off in the end ๐Ÿ™.

๐Ÿ˜ก๐Ÿ‘ฎโ€โ™‚๏ธ come on who does that?! Bayson Elias Pu is literally a master thief ๐Ÿคฃ and now he's facing more charges than a Netflix original series ๐Ÿ“บ. Using someone else's Social Security number without consent is like, so not cool ๐Ÿ˜’. Lupe Tortilla employees gotta be praised for reporting this to the cops ๐Ÿ’ช, it could've been anyone who walked in that bathroom ๐Ÿšฝ. Now Pu's gonna have to deal with these new charges and I hope he gets the max time โฐ๐Ÿ‘ฎโ€โ™‚๏ธ. And let me ask you, what's next? Are people gonna start filming themselves doing their business in public toilets ๐Ÿคฆโ€โ™€๏ธ?! No thanks ๐Ÿ˜‚.

I'm torn about this whole thing ๐Ÿค”... I mean, can you blame the dude for trying to make a living? He was struggling as a dishwasher, right? And Lupe Tortilla has that sketchy history with employee misconduct. But at the same time, putting cameras in the bathroom and using someone's SSN without consent is just low โฌ‡๏ธ. Like, come on! You gotta draw a line somewhere. I feel bad for the guy who got his ID stolen, but Pu should've known better. And Lupe Tortilla, you guys are getting a rep for being more than just a shady spot to grab some tacos ๐Ÿคช...

omg, what is going on with Lupe Tortilla?! ๐Ÿคฏ I mean, i get it, security is a big deal but installing cameras in restrooms without consent is just weird ๐Ÿ˜ณ. and now this guy has some serious identity theft issues... 66 years old man had his ssn stolen and used for fraud? that's just nasty ๐Ÿ’ธ. and what's with the whole thing with the employees reporting it to authorities? i feel like lupe tortilla should be giving them a big thank you ๐Ÿ™Œ instead of having this whole drama going on.

this is so disturbing ๐Ÿคฏ, i mean, using a camera in the bathroom at work is already creepy enough, but then you take it to a whole new level by stealing someone's identity and committing fraud... it's just not right ๐Ÿ™…โ€โ™‚๏ธ. i'm glad that lupe tortilla employees spoke up and reported it, because if no one had, who knows how many people would have been affected by pu's actions? it just goes to show that we need to be more vigilant about our personal space and online security ๐Ÿ”’. anyway, kudos to the authorities for taking action and putting an end to this guy's schemes ๐Ÿ’ฏ
