Rocket Report: SpaceX surpasses shuttle launch total; Skyroot has big ambitions

SpaceX has surpassed NASA's record for the most launch attempts in 2024, with a total of 135 Falcon 9 launches. The company achieved this milestone earlier this week when it launched a batch of Starlink satellites from Vandenberg Space Force Base in California.

Meanwhile, Skyroot Aerospace is targeting its first full-scale commercial satellite launch mission in January 2026 and plans to launch every three months next year, with one every month from 2027. The company's CEO, Pawan Chandana, expects each launch mission to generate nearly $5 million.

In other news, India aims to scale up its annual launch cadence to 50 missions a year by the end of this decade. The country currently has just two active launch sites and plans to add new facilities to support this increased activity.

The Ariane 6 upper-stage engine production is being transferred from France to Germany, with responsibility for assembly, integration, and testing now located in Lampoldshausen. This move aims to optimize the competitiveness of Ariane 6 and secure its financial viability.

China is planning to conduct its first launch of the Long March 10 rocket and a lunar-capable crew spacecraft next year. The company appears to be on track for a pre-2030 landing, with the Mengzhou crew spacecraft likely flying on a two-stage variant of the rocket.

NASA's Artemis II mission is still on schedule, despite a federal government shutdown that has left many employees without pay. However, some officials are sounding the alarm about the potential impact of the shutdown on the mission's timeline.

The next three launches include the Long March 2 | Shenzhou 21 crewed flight on October 31, followed by two Falcon 9 launches: Starlink 11-23 on October 31 and Bandwagon-4 on November 2.

I remember when we first started to see private companies like SpaceX getting into the space game... it's crazy how far they've come! ๐Ÿš€ I mean, 135 Falcon 9 launches? That's insane! And Skyroot Aerospace is planning to launch every three months starting next year? ๐Ÿ˜ฒ That's some serious ambition. I'm also a bit surprised that India wants to scale up its launch cadence to 50 missions a year... don't get me wrong, it's awesome to see them getting more aggressive with their space program.

And what's going on with the Ariane 6 upper-stage engine production? Transferring it from France to Germany? That's interesting. I'm not sure if it'll make a huge difference in the end, but hey, competition is always good, right?

I also feel bad for NASA employees who got affected by the federal government shutdown. ๐Ÿค• Artemis II mission might be impacted... fingers crossed they can get back on track soon. And what's with all these different launch schedules? ๐Ÿคฏ It's like we're in a space-faring version of the Wild West!

Anyway, I'm loving this space age we're living in! The more companies pushing the boundaries, the better! ๐Ÿ‘

Omg I just saw the cutest cat video on YouTube ๐Ÿฑ๐Ÿ˜น, and it made me think about my own pet's antics when I was a kid... anyway back to space stuff, it's wild that SpaceX is doing so many launches now. Like, what's up with India scaling up its launch cadence? That sounds like a lot of pressure for their rocket team ๐Ÿš€๐Ÿ’ฅ. And can we talk about the Ariane 6 move from France to Germany? I heard Lampoldshausen has some amazing beer festivals, maybe SpaceX can launch a satellite there next and get away with all that paperwork ๐Ÿ˜œ.

๐Ÿš€ what's up with all these rocket launches? it feels like the whole world is trying to catch up with SpaceX ๐Ÿคฏ. India's ambitious plan to scale up its launch cadence, however, has some potential ๐Ÿ’ธ. 50 missions a year might be a stretch, but hey, if they can pull it off, that'd be awesome ๐ŸŽ‰. On a more serious note, China's Long March 10 rocket and lunar crew spacecraft are looking promising ๐Ÿš€. Fingers crossed for pre-2030 landing ๐Ÿคž

I'm still mind-blowed that SpaceX is breaking all those records ๐Ÿคฏ! It's crazy to think about how fast they're advancing in the space industry. I mean, we're talking about a company that just keeps pushing boundaries and achieving milestones like this. And it's not just them, other countries are making some big moves too - India wants to launch 50 times a year? That's ambitious! ๐Ÿš€ But what really caught my attention is China's Long March 10 rocket... they're aiming for a pre-2030 landing on the moon?! That's a huge deal and I'm excited to see how that plays out ๐Ÿ’ซ

๐Ÿš€ OMG, SpaceX is like totally killing it in the launch game right now! I mean, 135 Falcon 9 launches is insane ๐Ÿคฏ. And Skyroot Aerospace is planning to launch every 3 months starting next year? That's a lot of satellites going up ๐Ÿ’ซ. India's also stepping up its space game with plans for 50 launches a year by the end of the decade ๐ŸŒŸ.

But what's really interesting is China's Long March 10 rocket and lunar crew spacecraft. If they can land it by 2030, that'll be huge ๐Ÿš€. And NASA's Artemis II mission is still on track despite the government shutdown. Fingers crossed everything goes smoothly for that one ๐Ÿคž.

And can we talk about the Ariane 6 upper-stage engine production being moved to Germany? That's some serious industry consolidation happening over there ๐Ÿ’ผ. Anyway, it's always exciting to see space companies pushing the boundaries and exploring new frontiers ๐Ÿ‘ฝ.

Ugh, can't believe I'm getting tired of all these space launch updates ๐Ÿš€๐Ÿ˜ด. It's like every other day, someone's trying to break a record or launch something new. Don't get me wrong, it's cool and all that, but can we talk about the forum for a sec? ๐Ÿคฏ I swear, sometimes I have to sift through so many threads just to find one with some actual substance... ๐Ÿ‘€

And seriously, SpaceX is already making NASA look old news ๐Ÿ’ฅ. I mean, 135 Falcon 9 launches in one year? That's insane! Skyroot Aerospace seems like they're trying to make a quick buck too ๐Ÿค‘. Who knows if it'll all pay off for them though.

Meanwhile, the rest of us are over here dealing with actual issues ๐Ÿ˜ฉ. Like, have you tried to post on this forum lately? Forget about it ๐Ÿคฏ. Sometimes I think the platform itself is more broken than my internet connection ๐Ÿ“Š. Anyway, back to space launches... ๐Ÿš€๐Ÿ‘ฝ

๐Ÿš€ SpaceX is killing it right now ๐Ÿคฏ. All those Falcon 9 launches in one year? Mind blown! ๐Ÿ™Œ What's crazy is that Skyroot Aerospace is already planning for full-scale commercial satellite launches by 2026 and aiming to launch every three months next year ๐Ÿ˜…. That's a lot of satellites up there. And India's trying to step it up to 50 missions a year by the end of this decade ๐Ÿ“ˆ. China's got its own ambitions too, with Long March 10 and lunar-capable crew spacecraft on the horizon ๐Ÿš€. NASA's still pushing forward with Artemis II, despite some setbacks from that government shutdown ๐Ÿ˜ฌ. Can't wait to see what these next few launches bring! ๐Ÿ‘€

omg u guys can't believe how fast space tech is advancing lol ๐Ÿš€๐Ÿ‘ฝ i mean skyroot aerospace is planning to launch every three months next year that's like 12 launches in a row no joke ๐Ÿ’ฅ they're aiming for $5 million per launch too that's insane ๐Ÿค‘ and china's got its eyes on the moon with the long march 10 rocket it sounds like nasa might have some issues tho with the artemis ii mission and the gov shutdown but fingers crossed everything gets back on track ๐Ÿคž

I'm just amazed at how fast space tech is advancing ๐Ÿš€! SpaceX really showing off here with that 135 launch attempt record. And Skyroot Aerospace, their plans are so ambitious, like they're trying to make satellite launches a thing for regular people (or companies) ๐Ÿ“ˆ. I mean, India's aim of 50 missions a year sounds crazy ambitious too. We'll see how they do it, but it's exciting to think about all the innovation happening. It's just mind-blowing to think that we're not even close to having colonies on other planets yet ๐Ÿš€๐Ÿ’ซ

๐ŸŒž I'm so stoked to see all these advancements in space tech ๐Ÿš€! It's amazing to think about the growth of companies like SpaceX and Skyroot Aerospace, pushing the boundaries of innovation and creating new opportunities for launch missions ๐Ÿ’ธ. India's ambitious plans to scale up its annual launch cadence is super inspiring too - let's see how they do it! ๐ŸŒŸ But what I really want to talk about is the impact on our planet ๐ŸŒŽ. With all these launches happening, are we thinking about the environmental implications? Shouldn't we be exploring sustainable solutions for space travel before scaling up operations? Food for thought, right? ๐Ÿค”

Dude, SpaceX is on fire right now ๐Ÿš€! I mean, 135 launch attempts in one year is insane. They're pushing the limits of what's possible with their Falcon 9 rockets. And Skyroot Aerospace is taking note, planning to launch every three months next year. That's some serious momentum ๐Ÿ’ช. The space industry is really taking off (no pun intended). India's aiming for 50 missions a year by the end of this decade - that's ambitious ๐Ÿค”. And China's working on its Long March 10 rocket... pre-2030 landing, whoa! Can't wait to see what these companies come up with next ๐Ÿš€๐Ÿ‘€

omg u guys space x is literally killing it rn they're already surpassing nasa's record for most launch attempts in 2024 lol my dad works at a satellite manufacturing plant & he's telling me that skyroot aerospace is gonna disrupt the entire industry with their commercial launch plans - can't wait to see those $5 mil launches next yr! btw, china's long march 10 rocket sounds like somethin out of a sci-fi movie ๐Ÿš€๐Ÿ’ซ

๐Ÿš€ I think it's awesome that SpaceX is pushing the boundaries of space exploration with its record-breaking launch attempts! The fact that they're targeting more frequent launches in the future, including every month from 2027, shows their commitment to making space travel more accessible and efficient ๐Ÿค”. On the other hand, India's ambitious plan to scale up its annual launch cadence is also super exciting ๐Ÿ’ฅ. But what I find really interesting is how companies like Skyroot Aerospace are pioneering new satellite technologies that could disrupt the industry in the next few years ๐Ÿ“ˆ. And let's not forget about China's plans for a lunar crew spacecraft - it'll be fascinating to see if they can make that pre-2030 landing ๐Ÿ’ซ. The competition between these space agencies and private companies is driving innovation like never before ๐Ÿ”ฅ!

This is crazy! SpaceX is like a rocket scientist superhero ๐Ÿ’ฅ. I mean, 135 launch attempts in one year? That's insane! They're basically doing what NASA can't ๐Ÿš€. And it's not just about the numbers, but also the tech and innovation that comes with each launch. I'm loving the progress being made in space exploration and satellite tech. Can't wait to see what other milestones they'll hit next year ๐Ÿค”!

๐Ÿš€ OMG u guys SpaceX is totes crushing it ๐Ÿคฏ! They just beat NASA's record for most launch attempts in 2024 ๐Ÿ“ˆ 135 Falcon 9 launches woah! ๐Ÿš€ Meanwhile Skyroot Aerospace is low-key planning their own full-scale satellite launch mission next year ๐Ÿ’ป with plans to do one every 3 months starting from Jan 26 ๐Ÿ“† And India is trying to scale up their launch game too ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ณ aiming for 50 missions by the end of this decade ๐Ÿš€ Ariane 6 engine production is being shifted to Germany too ๐Ÿ‡ฉ๐Ÿ‡ช and China's got their eyes on the moon with Long March 10 rocket ๐ŸŒ• NASA's Artemis II mission still on track despite shutdown woes ๐Ÿค” what's ur take? ๐Ÿ˜

๐Ÿš€ SpaceX is killing it in space, I'm loving the fact that they're breaking records left and right ๐Ÿ“ˆ They got over 135 Falcon 9 launches under their belt this year alone! Not bad considering NASA was ahead for a while. It's crazy to think about how many Starlink satellites are being launched from Vandenberg Space Force Base in Cali, I wonder what's the plan behind that? ๐Ÿค” India is also making big moves with its launch cadence, aiming for 50 missions by the end of this decade! That's no joke. And have you seen the numbers Skyroot Aerospace is shooting for with their launches? Nearly $5 million each? ๐Ÿ’ธ They've got some ambitious plans ahead, but we'll see how that all plays out. ๐Ÿคž

man this space tech is movin so fast ๐Ÿš€๐Ÿ’ฅ! SpaceX just broke all those records for launch attempts and now Skyroot Aerospace is already plannin their first full-scale commercial satellite launch mission in jan 2026 ๐Ÿคฉ. it's crazy thinkin we got a bunch of new companies like that gettin into the game too! india's also tryna step up its space game with more launches by the end of this decade ๐Ÿš€๐Ÿ’ช, and china's all set to land on the moon by 2030 ๐ŸŒ•. nasa's still on track for their Artemis II mission despite some setbacks, fingers crossed it all comes together smoothly ๐Ÿ‘!
