i mean can u even imagine if that was the face of our queen?? but at the same time some people are all like "it's actually really beautiful" 
so yeah it's just one of them things where everyone's got an opinion, and honestly who knows how accurate the design is supposed to be once it's on metal? 
anyway they sold out fast and now collectors are dyin' for those silver proof coins

and btw, who says its supposed to be a perfect likeness of queen elizabeth ii anyway? like, isn't that kinda unrealistic? 
? The Royal Mint is trying to show off some personality here, not just stick to the usual boring royal pics 
. And yeah, maybe it's a bit Shrek-ish but who cares, it's still an awesome coin

but I guess that's just me. I've seen some of the designs online and they do look like Shrek, lol! 
The back of the coin with King Charles III's portrait is a nice touch tho. It's interesting to see how collectors are reacting to it, some love it, others hate it, and then there are those who think Shrek would be proud 
? anyway, i think the mint made a good point that once its etched into metal it might not look as great in person. still cant wait to get my hands on one of those silver proof coins 
! I mean, would you really want to see the Queen in a life-sized bronze statue on your mantle? Maybe not

But, on the other hand, I get why some people would be like "nope, this isn't the Queen at all" 
... maybe it's just me, but I think the mint did a pretty good job capturing her spirit and personality in a small space. And can we talk about how cool it is that there are limited stocks of these coins?
