I'm super relieved that the school bus service is getting a reprieve, especially with all the parents scrambling to make alternative arrangements. The whole thing has been so frustrating - inconsistent service and no-show buses are just unacceptable! 
As a parent of a kid who relies on the bus for their disability, it's nice to know that the city is looking out for our kids' needs.I also love how the mayor is getting praised for his commitment to public school students. It's about time we had some accountability in place to ensure these services are running smoothly!
Now, I'm keeping my fingers crossed that this temporary deal will lead to some real changes and improvements to the system. We need better bus services for our kids - it's not just a matter of convenience, but also their safety and well-being 
and i'm sure there are tons more parents out there who have to scramble now like they're already stressed enough 
meanwhile the city's all like "yay we fixed it" but what about the underlying issues that led to this mess in the first place 
, but at the same time it's crazy how this had to happen last minute like a week before the contracts expired 
But I guess it's better than nothing and now the buses will be running which is a huge relief for all those students who rely on them every day 
. And kudos to Mayor Adams for stepping in and ensuring that public school students can safely get to and from schools
