Microsoft has begun rolling out its Xbox Full Screen Experience (FSE) to the MSI Claw, a gaming handheld device. The FSE is a console-like navigation experience designed for Windows PC gaming, and it allows users to access their games from an interface similar to that of an Xbox console.
The FSE was previously introduced on the Xbox Ally and Xbox Ally X devices in early October, but many users reported issues with these models. Microsoft has now released a preview version of the FSE for the MSI Claw, which is part of the latest Windows 11 Insider Preview Build.
To access the FSE on an MSI Claw device, users need to follow these steps: go to Settings > Gaming > Full screen experience and select Xbox as their home app. Once enabled, users can access the FSE from Task View or Game Bar, and they can also configure their handheld to enter full screen experience mode on startup.
Microsoft notes that additional OEMs will be enabling their handheld devices to use the Xbox FSE "in the coming months." Lenovo's Legion Go 2 is already set to receive this feature next year.
It's worth noting that users are advised to wait until some of the problems associated with the original FSE have been resolved before installing it on their MSI Claw.
