Michelle Williams Joins Daniel Craig, Cillian Murphy in Damien Chazelle’s Next Movie

Michelle Williams Joins Daniel Craig, Cillian Murphy in Damien Chazelle's Next Movie

Damien Chazelle is set to direct and produce his next film, a prison-set untitled movie, which will star Michelle Williams alongside Daniel Craig and Cillian Murphy. The project, written by Chazelle himself, marks the director's highly anticipated comeback after the underwhelming box office performance of "Babylon," released in 2022.

Williams, who recently won a Golden Globe for her starring role in FX's "Dying for Sex" and has appeared in numerous Oscar-nominated films such as "Blue Valentine," "The Fabelmans," and "Manchester by the Sea," is expected to bring her impressive talent to the table. Her current stage production of Eugene O'Neill's "Anna Christie" will likely be put on hold, given her new commitment to Chazelle's project.

Chazelle has been working on various projects, including a potential biopic about Evel Knievel, although it appears to have fallen by the wayside in favor of this new endeavor. Murphy, fresh from his Oscar win for "Oppenheimer," and Craig, who recently appeared in "Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery" and "Queer," are set to star alongside Williams.

Paramount Pictures has taken on distribution duties for Chazelle's film, highlighting the studio's continued commitment to supporting emerging talent. Despite the disappointing reception of "Babylon," Chazelle remains one of the most celebrated directors working today, with a notable Oscar win for "La La Land" and successful outings like "Whiplash" and "First Man."

I'm so excited to see Michelle Williams on board for this new Damien Chazelle project. She's always been a talented actress and I love how she's taking on roles that really challenge her. I'm curious to see how she'll work with Daniel Craig and Cillian Murphy, they're all so different yet I know they'll create something amazing together.

I've got to say, it's great to see Paramount Pictures backing Chazelle again after "Babylon". He's still one of the most innovative directors out there and I'm sure this new film will be just as visually stunning as his previous work. 😊🎥

OMG, this new movie project sounds soooo good!!! I'm already shipping Michelle Williams & Daniel Craig together, they'd be a power couple on screen 💁‍♀️🔥. And Cillian Murphy is just amazing, he's been killing it lately 🎬. I'm curious about Damien Chazelle's direction, I mean, after "Babylon" was underwhelming... but let's not forget his Oscar win for "La La Land" 💫. Maybe this new project will be the comeback he needs? 😊 Paramount Pictures is being super supportive by taking on distribution duties, that's a big thumbs up! 👍

idk man, i just dont get why michelle williams is joinin up with daniel craig and cillian murphy on this new damien chazelle flick. she's already got a ton of cred from her osci nominations and golden globe win... what more does chazelle wanna prove? 🤔 also, i thought damien was gonna stick to his biopic thing, but now he's just gonna make some random prison movie instead? 🚫 still gotta give credit tho, chazelle's still a talented director after "babylon" and all... cant wait to see how this one turns out! 😬

OMG 🤩 I AM SO EXCITED FOR THIS NEW MOVIE PROJECT!!! michelle williams is an AMAZING actress and i know she's gonna bring so much depth to this role. dan craig and cillian murphy are also awesome actors, so it's going to be a real treat for fans of drama movies! 🎥 i heard the director, damien chazelle, has been working on some other cool projects too, like a biopic about evil kneivel... what do you think? should he make that one next?! 😁

OMG, I'm so hyped about this new movie!!! 🤩 Michelle Williams is literally the queen and pairing her with Daniel Craig and Cillian Murphy is going to be EPIC!!! 🎥 I've been a huge fan of Damien Chazelle since La La Land and I know he's going to bring his A-game to this project. I'm still fangirling over the fact that Michelle Williams got a Golden Globe for Dying for Sex 😍, she's just so talented! And can we talk about how amazing it is that Paramount Pictures is supporting emerging talent again? 💖 The movie is set in prison and with these three actors on board, I'm expecting something truly special. Bring it on 2025!!! 🎬

I'm super excited about this new Damien Chazelle movie! Michelle Williams, Daniel Craig, and Cillian Murphy are all legends in their own right. I love that Michelle is taking on a new role - she's been killing it in her stage production of "Anna Christie" but I know she's got bigger fish to fry now 😊. And can you believe the cast? It's like they're trying out for some kind of A-list ensemble film 🤣. The fact that Chazelle is taking a risk on this new project after the mixed reviews of his last movie is pretty bold, but I trust him - he's still one of my fave directors 💯. Plus, it's always great to see new talent coming through from Paramount Pictures 👍. Fingers crossed this one's gonna be a hit! 🎥

ooh, sounds like Damien Chazelle is back on track after that Babylon flop 🤔! love Michelle Williams in all her roles, she's so talented 🎭. but I'm not sure what to make of this prison-set movie... Daniel Craig and Cillian Murphy are great actors, they'll def bring the heat 💥. I do hope Chazelle can recapture that magic from La La Land ✨. and on a separate note, who's up for a Evel Knievel biopic? 🤠 guess it'll have to wait till next time 🕰️. Paramount Pictures always knows how to support the arts 💼!

omg can u believe michelle williams is joining daniel craig and cillian murphy in damien chazelles next movie?? i'm so hyped!! i've been thinking about how he's gonna do after babylon, and i guess this new project is a great sign that he's still got it! Michelle is literally one of the best actresses out there, her range is insane! i love that cillian murphy is on board too, he's so talented! this movie better be amazing 🤩🎥

I'm so excited about this new movie! 🎥 Michelle Williams is an amazing actress, I've seen her in some great films before. It's not clear what the plot of the prison-set movie will be, but with Chazelle at the helm, I know it'll be well-written and engaging. Daniel Craig and Cillian Murphy are both talented actors too! I'm a bit sad that Michelle has to put her current stage production on hold, but this could be some big acting credit for her. Fingers crossed for Damien Chazelle's comeback film - he's still one of the most respected directors out there 🙌

Ugh, I'm so over the whole Paramount Pictures taking on distribution duties thing 🙄. It's just another way to greenlight mediocre movies and force talented directors to compromise their artistic vision 🤯. And can we talk about how they're already pushing Michelle Williams' stage production of "Anna Christie" aside? Priorities, guys! 💔 Anyway, I'm curious to see how Damien Chazelle's comeback film turns out - fingers crossed it doesn't feel like a desperate attempt to revive his reputation 🤷‍♂️.

I'm not surprised to see Michelle Williams joining forces with Daniel Craig and Cillian Murphy in Damien Chazelle's next film 🤔. With her incredible range and Oscar nominations under her belt, she's always been someone I've wanted to see take on more dramatic roles. And let's be real, this prison-set movie sounds like a wild ride - I'm intrigued by the potential for gritty storytelling 😎.

I do hope Chazelle's new project will redeem itself after "Babylon" 🤞. He still has a lot of talent and passion behind him, and I've always loved his energy in films like "La La Land" and "Whiplash". It'll be interesting to see how he weaves this new story together - fingers crossed it'll be a hit! 👍

I'm not convinced this movie is going to be any better than "Babylon". I mean, what's with the untitled prison-set movie? Can't Damien Chazelle come up with something more original? 🤔 And what about the casting of Michelle Williams? I know she's talented, but doesn't she have other projects lined up that she should be focusing on? Plus, Cillian Murphy is already busy with his Oscar win and Daniel Craig... it all feels like a lot to juggle. Where are the sources for this news? What's the script even about? 🤷‍♀️

I'm low-key hyped about this new Damien Chazelle movie 🤩! I mean, we've been waiting for him to come back after that one underwhelming film, but with Michelle Williams and Daniel Craig on board, it's like a dream cast. Cillian Murphy is also amazing in this project... I hope he gets to showcase more of his range 🤔. The prison setting has me intrigued - Chazelle always manages to bring out the best in his actors, so I'm expecting something special from these three. And can we talk about how talented Michelle Williams is? She's been killing it in all her roles lately 😍... now let's see what she brings to this project! 👀

I don’t usually comment but Michelle Williams is literally going to be everywhere this year lol. First FX's "Dying for Sex" then her stage production of "Anna Christie" now this new movie... she’s got a lot on her plate, but I mean who can blame her? She’s that good 🤩 And with Daniel Craig and Cillian Murphy joining the cast, it’s definitely shaping up to be an interesting film. I don’t know what to expect from Damien Chazelle after "Babylon" though, his movies are always so ambitious... let's just say I’m keeping an eye on this one 🎥

I'm intrigued by this new project from Damien Chazelle 🤔. Michelle Williams is always a game-changer, and she'll definitely bring some depth to the film. The cast looks solid too - Cillian Murphy's recent Oscar win has me curious about how he'll fit into this role 😊. I mean, Daniel Craig's been in some weird stuff lately, so maybe this will be his chance to redeem himself? 🤷‍♂️ Still, we gotta see how the final product turns out... Chazelle's had a rough go of it recently with "Babylon", but he's still got that magic ✨.
