... I mean, come on! She's supposed to be a respected journalist and she just goes and makes these flippant comments about human trafficking? It's like she's not even listening to the survivors or taking the issue seriously. And honestly, who cares what age range she thinks is relevant? The fact that Epstein was targeting minors in the first place is the problem, period 
. I've seen her try to spin this before but it's just not landing with me. How can you downplay something like this and expect people to take you seriously? 
i mean i get it if u wanna make a point or something but downplaying epstein's crimes like that is just not right. i've read through some of the cases and its clear he took advantage of these kids when they were legally minors and cant give consent. its not about whether u find them attractive or whatever its about exploitation and harm. her comments came across as really insensitive and maybe even a bit laughable, especially since she's got a law background. i mean idk what she was thinking but this is definitely not how u make a point about abuse of power. the term pedophile isn't just some made up thing its a serious label for someone who preys on kids.
