Philadelphia Flyers Fall to Edmonton Oilers in Overtime, Michkov Scores Again
The Philadelphia Flyers' chances of a win slipped away once again, as they fell 2-1 to the Edmonton Oilers in overtime at Xfinity Mobile Arena. Despite Matvei Michkov's second goal of the game, the Flyers were unable to capitalize on their scoring opportunities and came up short.

. I'm not sure how these teams can keep going back to the ice when it's so one-dimensional. Just more puck-slinging, high-speed hockey that doesn't really add up to much in terms of strategy or skill. And don't even get me started on the goalie saves 
, but the Oilers still need to develop some real depth if they want to stay competitive. It's just so much of the same old hockey - a bunch of skilled players running wild and not really thinking about anything else beyond their own scoring chances. Not exactly what I'd call 'sustainable'

the Oilers played some solid hockey, no doubt about it but i think the flyers have more to offer than that 2-1 loss 
still though michkov is on fire 
. edmonton played so clean, their shot volume was insane. dan vladar did make some sick saves tho 
. its all about building on scoring chances, Flyers need 2 work on that 
. Michkov's got potential 2 b da starter but needs 2 step up his game 
. Oilers played a solid game, edmonton's defense was all over it 
. Flyers gotta bounce back from dis 1, cant have dem losin 2 many more games 
️. I mean, Michkov's got some serious skills, but the whole team can't rely on one guy to save them all the time 
. It's like they're saying "you know what, we'll just wait for that lucky goal" instead of putting in the effort to create chances themselves 
. This whole thing's got me wondering if the Flyers are actually building towards something or just treading water 
. Anyways, gotta keep hopin' for Philly, they're showin' some promise this season

it was like "ok team we got this" but then jack roslovic just swooped in and stole the win from us 
dan vladar is literally a hero for making those clutch saves though 
anyway gotta give it up to edmonton, they played hard and deserved that win 
but the flyers are still looking good despite this loss 
. He's on fire! But, they need to figure out how to get more consistent scoring chances. It's like they're shootin' themselves in the foot sometimes 
. Michkov's been on fire lately, and I'm so glad he's getting the recognition he deserves 
... Connor McDavid should've had a hat-trick for sure 
. The Oilers were just too slick, too fast... it was like they were playing a different game than us 
. Michkov's got some magic in him, let's see if he can bring that spark to every game 
... the flyers just cant seem to catch a break, even when they're playing good hockey. i think its because of all the power plays they have, it's like too much for them to handle

and Vladar's been making some insane saves too, love the goalie play
