Manhunt launched for handcuffed suspect who escaped from Houston hospital.
A 27-year-old man, Carlos Molina Hernandez, broke free from his handcuffs while in custody at the Ben Taub Hospital on Friday afternoon. The Harris County Sheriff's Office confirmed that Hernandez was taken to the hospital following an aggravated assault report in the 9800 block of Berry Orchard Lane. However, around 4:46 p.m., authorities reported he managed to escape.
As a result, the HCSO issued a call for help urging citizens to remain vigilant and be on the lookout for any information regarding Hernandez's whereabouts. If anyone spots him or has knowledge about his current location, they are asked to contact 9-1-1 immediately or Crime Stoppers of Houston at 713-222-TIPS (8477).
