I'm kinda worried about this new info on melatonin, I take it sometimes and it actually helps me sleep but now I heard that long term use might increase heart failure risk it's not all bad tho, 'cause like my doctor said taking it in moderation is probably fine... still, gotta make sure we know more about what's really going on.
I remember when I first started taking melatonin for sleep and it was game changer ... or so I thought. My doctor prescribed me a low dose and I took it for a few months, but then I stopped because I didn't feel like I needed it anymore. But now I'm hearing that long-term use might be bad for my heart? That's crazy to me. I've been fine on melatonin for years... or so I thought . I guess you can never really know what you're putting in your body until more research comes out, right?
omg, who wouldn't want to take a fancy pill to sleep like it's 2025 ? seriously though, can you imagine how many ppl just started popping melatonin because they couldn't wind down after watching another season of their fave show ? anywayz, idk about all these meds... my grandma still swears by the old ways - like, have you tried just meditating for 5 mins before bed?
just saw this study about melatonin and my mind is blown i take melatonin sometimes when im stressed or can't sleep but never thought it could be bad for me... all these years i was just trying to get a good night's rest what if everything we think is safe turns out not to be? gotta do some more research on this one, maybe talk to a doc about it
Melatonin, I mean what's up with this stuff ? It's like we're so desperate for a good night's sleep that we'll just throw anything at it and hope it sticks . I get it, insomnia is no joke, but 89% more likely to develop heart failure from taking melatonin? That's some crazy stats . And what's up with the 'may not be as harmless as commonly assumed' vibe? Like, we already knew that our bodies are complex and stuff . Can't we just have a clear answer for once? Not to say I'm against all supplements, but let's get more research done before we start jumping on the melatonin bandwagon . My money's on some unknown variable causing this whole thing... like maybe it's all about balance and moderation .
