"Death Star" Brings 'Star Wars' Magic to Las Vegas with Immersive LEGO Experience

A spectacular display of the iconic "Death Star" from the popular 'Star Wars' franchise illuminated the night sky at Sphere in Las Vegas, marking a first-of-its-kind immersive game experience designed by LEGO, Disney, and Lucasfilm. The large LED screen, known as Exosphere, showcased a 366-foot-tall replica of the Imperial space station.

The interactive event, dubbed "LEGO 'Star Wars'," allows fans to engage with their favorite characters from the beloved franchise in a never-before-seen way. The experience brings the LEGO SMART Play technology to life, featuring interactive pieces that respond to actions taken by builders, producing music, sound effects, and lights.

In one memorable moment, New York Giants quarterback Jaxson Dart was able to recreate the trench run scene from 'Star Wars: A New Hope' in a massive LEGO X-Wing. He was among fans who got to experience the thrill of recreating famous scenes in the large LED display.

LEGO SMART Play marks a significant innovation for the company, building upon its iconic minifigure released in 1978. This technology has taken the imagination-based play to new heights by turning it into reality through the use of interactive pieces.
