Aldi Recalls Holiday Barks Over Undeclared Allergens

Consumers shopping at Aldi may want to inspect their pantries for holiday treats, as the store has issued a recall for two products due to potential allergen contamination. The Silvestri Sweets Choceur-branded cookie butter holiday bark and pecan, cranberry, and cinnamon holiday bark are affected.

The issue arises from the possibility that the pecan, cranberry, and cinnamon holiday bark contains undeclared wheat, while the cookie butter holiday bark may contain undeclared pecans. According to the FDA, no reported illnesses have been linked to the recall.

To ensure consumer safety, customers are advised to discard the products immediately or return them to a store for a refund. The recalled items were sold nationwide at Aldi in 5-ounce packages.

Ugh, this is getting serious ! First, it's about undeclared allergens in holiday treats... next thing you know, they'll be telling us our food is laced with microchips or something . I mean, can't these companies just be honest for once?

I'm not saying it's the end of the world, but if a major chain like Aldi can't even get their act together when it comes to labeling, what's next? Are they gonna start hiding tracking devices in our food too? Just keepin' it real here...

omg u guys!! i just saw that aldi is recalling their holiday barks and i'm literally freaking out i mean who doesn't love cookie butter or pecan bark during the holidays?! but seriously, undeclared allergens are no joke fam. i know it's probably an honest mistake on aldi's part, but still, let's make sure to keep our loved ones safe .

i'm def stocking up my pantry with more safe treats and making sure my fave family members have backup options can we pls just take a minute to appreciate how diligent the fda is about keeping us safe? kudos to them!

omg what's up with aldi and their allergen recalls like cant we trust that they checked the ingredients? anyway, i got a friend who's super allergic to nuts and she just found out about this recall lol good call by aldi though to be proactive and issue the recall ASAP. i'm gonna make sure to check my holiday treats before devouring them
