The shooting occurred at approximately 7 p.m., when the two pairs of males crossed paths. The second male was shot multiple times, while the 28-year-old victim was struck in the leg. Witnesses described hearing gunfire before seeing the perpetrators flee the scene north on Kedzie Avenue in a sedan.
Miraculously, both victims were rushed to Mt. Sinai Hospital, where they were initially listed in critical condition. The situation remains dire as medical teams work tirelessly to stabilize their conditions.

u guys gotta be careful when it comes to carrying guns, like, in general, not just in situations like this. 2 ppl get shot because of some other ppl's stupidity... 
it's so senseless. and now 2 innocent ppl are fighting for their lives? 
what's the point of all this violence? can't we just talk things out or something? 
i know there's a lot of unanswered questions about why this happened, but let's not forget that these 2 victims' families have to deal with this mess too... 
they're the ones who really got hurt here. 
. i wish something would be done about this city's reputation, it's getting old seeing people get shot all the time
