I'm so done with this heat wave already! It's been a while since we've seen temperatures above 80°F (27°C), and I'm not sure how much more of this I can take. On the bright side, inland areas are in for some lovely sunshine, which is always a bonus.
However, the coastal residents need to be prepared for some seriously hazardous driving conditions due to sea fog. It's just not worth the risk, you know? And with the dense fog advisory still in effect, I'm surprised anyone's venturing out at all.
I do appreciate the forecasters' attempt to reassure us that this warm spell won't be as scorching as it was during Christmas week. Still, I have a feeling we might see some more record-breaking temperatures before the cold front arrives.
It's also interesting to note how quickly winter's chill is expected to return, albeit with a slim chance of rain on Saturday. Bring on those crisp autumn vibes! ⛂️
