Five college prospects who could interest the Eagles in the 2026 NFL Draft

Philadelphia Eagles Could Target These Players in the 2026 NFL Draft

The College Football Playoff National Championship is just around the corner, with the Miami Hurricanes facing off against the Indiana Hoosiers. As we prepare for the upcoming draft, we're taking a closer look at five players who could potentially interest the Philadelphia Eagles in the 2026 NFL Draft.

First up is Carter Smith, an offensive tackle from Indiana. At 6'5" and 313 pounds, Smith may not have the most imposing size or athleticism, but he's technically sound with good feet and a powerful punch. He's played as both left tackle and right tackle throughout his career, making him a versatile option for the Eagles.

Next is Riley Nowakowski, a tight end from Indiana who has already shown highlight reel blocks this season. The Eagles have a history of using fullbacks or blocking tight ends in their offense, and Nowakowski could be an attractive option late on Day 3.

Indiana's defensive line also produced some impressive performances, including Stephen Daley. A defensive lineman with Brandon Graham-like dimensions, Daley ties for the D1 lead with 19 tackles for loss this season. He's a logical fit as a stout run-stopping edge defender who can rush the passer from the interior on passing downs.

From Miami comes Keionte Scott, a slot cornerback who has shown speed, physicality, and instinctiveness. While the Eagles may not need a slot corner, it's worth considering Scott as a safety prospect due to his unique skillset.

Finally, we have Anez Cooper, an offensive guard from Miami. At 6'6" and 345 pounds, Cooper is a massive human with good athleticism for his size. He'd be a perfect fit for Jeff Stoutland's interior defensive line.

It's worth noting that some of these players were previously profiled throughout the season, but they remain as attractive options to keep an eye on in the 2026 NFL Draft.

the eagles need someone with heart and smarts, not just physical giftsmay be too big for their system at times ๐Ÿ˜Ši like coopera he's got size and athleticism, plus that stoutland connection could be a nice fit ๐Ÿ‘still think they're gonna go lineman first draft pick

omg u guys I cant even believe its already march haha i was thinking about my friend who plays for Indiana and she's been saying that Stephen Daley is going to get drafted by the eagles like she knows him lol anyway back to the draft i think the eagles should def go after Keionte Scott he seems so cool ๐Ÿคฉ and I love his name keionte its so unique i also hope they pick Riley Nowakowski he looks so strong on highlight reels ๐Ÿ’ช but idk if anez cooper would fit in with jeff stoutlands interior defensive line he's like super big lol 6'6" and 345 pounds haha

come on philly eagles gotta make a move here ๐Ÿค” they need more depth at oline esp with stoutland at helm think cooperr is solid pick for guard tho ๐Ÿค or maybe scott if he shows up on draft day as cb what do u guys think about daley though? he seems like legit edge rusher ๐Ÿ‘€

idk about Anez Cooper being a huge guy @345lbs...he might be too slow for Jeff Stoutland's scheme ๐Ÿค”. and yeah, Keionte Scott is interesting, maybe as a safety prospect tho ๐Ÿ™„. Carter Smith could work out on the line, but what if he can't handle the speed rushers? ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™‚๏ธ. Riley Nowakowski is kinda cool, tight end blocks are always useful, but do they need another one? ๐Ÿค”

๐Ÿค” The Eagles need to bring back their run game, you feel? With the way Cooper is playing, I think he'd be a solid pick at guard #NFLDraft #EaglesNation #DraftSeason ๐Ÿš€ Carter Smith would definitely provide some great depth on the O-line for them too! #TackleTrouble ๐Ÿคช I'm also loving Riley Nowakowski's highlight reel blocks โ€“ that tight end could bring some serious production to the Birds' offense ๐Ÿˆ #NowakowskiNation ๐Ÿ’ช

I'm thinkin' the Eagles should take a chance on Keionte Scott ๐Ÿค”. I mean, he's got all the skills, you know? Speed, physicality, instincts... he's like a corner version of Landon Collins, but with more explosiveness ๐Ÿ˜Š. Now, I know they might not need a slot corner right now, but think about it, they could use him as a safety or even in nickel packages ๐Ÿคž. And if they don't take him at 3? They'll be kicking themselves later on ๐Ÿ’”. Plus, Scott's got that Miami swagger, you know what I mean? He's gonna make some big plays down the field ๐Ÿ”ฅ.

The best way out of the desert is always through it ๐ŸŒ….

You know what's crazy? The Eagles' defense has been pretty solid lately, but they've had some issues with interior run-stopping. I think that's where Anez Cooper could bring some much-needed value to their line. He's got the size and athleticism to be a game-changer in the middle of that unit...

๐ŸŒŸ I'm loving all the hype around Carter Smith ๐Ÿคฉ he's got that underdog vibe going on & if he can crack the starter lineup, it'll be a major win for the Eagles ๐Ÿ’ช meanwhile Riley Nowakowski is looking like a solid late-round pick ๐Ÿ˜Ž gotta respect his highlight reel blocks ๐Ÿ‘
