Five-bedroom home sells in Pleasanton for $2.9 million

Pleasanton's Dream Home Sells for $2.9 Million, Perks Up in Neighborhood Market

A luxurious five-bedroom single-story home in Pleasanton has hit the market for a staggering $2.9 million. The 3,170-square-foot residence, situated on Wilde Avenue, boasts generous living spaces and exceptional amenities. Constructed in 1997, this spacious house features four bathrooms and three parking spots, making it an ideal abode for families or multi-car households.

The property's lot size spans 0.4 acres, offering ample space to enjoy the private pool and outdoor living areas. The price point of $909 per square foot is a testament to the home's exceptional quality and location.

This latest sale comes on the heels of neighboring properties that have recently changed hands for substantial sums. A 3,979-square-foot home in the Picard Avenue neighborhood sold in March 2023 for $3 million, while a 1,845-square-foot property on Angus Way sold for $1.78 million last year.

For comparison, another recent sale on Rathbone Way came in at $2.4 million for a 2,709-square-foot home with four bedrooms and three bathrooms. These sales suggest that the Pleasanton market is thriving, with luxury properties commanding top dollar.

idk how ppl can afford homes like that in pleasanton 🤑 they're literally living in dream houses lol but at the same time, i guess it's not surprising that they're selling for such high prices when u look at all these other sales in the area...it's like the whole city is just one big price hike 💸

🤣 I mean, who wouldn't wanna spend 909 bucks per square foot on a house? It's like buying a plot of land and then paying someone to do nothing with it... but with better Wi-Fi! 📱💻 Anyways, I guess this means all the rich folks in Pleasanton are just like, "You know what? We've got enough money to waste on real estate!" 😂 And yeah, it's crazy how prices are going up everywhere. I wonder if they'll ever get tired of paying more for houses... 🤷‍♂️

I'm shocked by how pricey it is to own a house in Pleasanton these days 🤯! $909 per square foot? That's crazy! I can see why people would pay top dollar for those nice amenities and big backyard though 😊. It's not like you're going to find houses like this just anywhere, right? But at the same time, it makes me wonder how normal it is for homes in the $2 million range... are they actually becoming more common or was that one just an outlier? 🤔

🏠💸 I mean, who needs that kinda cash? I've seen some crazy prices in my neighborhood lately too. Like, last year I fixed up an old bike by just replacing the inner tube and giving it a good cleaning 🚴‍♂️. It was worth like $200, not $2.4 million! But hey, to each their own, right? Maybe the people who buy these homes are just trying to live the dream 💤.

omg i just can't even imagine shelling out $909 per square foot for a house lol like what would u do with that kinda cash? 🤯 anyway i guess it's cool that the neighborhood is on fire and people are willing to pay top dollar for those dream homes... my friend's sister actually bought a similar one in Danville last year and she said it was totally worth it, but also said it came with some pretty hefty taxes lol good luck to whoever buys this one! 🤞

$2.9 million is still crazy! I mean, I get it, it's a nice house and all 🤑, but $909 per square foot? That's like buying a mansion in Silicon Valley. Did anyone even consider the cost of living in Pleasanton? 😬 Like, what about taxes, insurance, and food? The article just says "exceptional amenities" without giving any real examples, so I'm not convinced this house is worth it 🤔. And another thing, why did these houses all sell for so much? Is the market really that crazy or are people just throwing money around? 💸

🤯 just thinkin' about how crazy the housing market is right now 🤑 i mean, $2.9 million for a 5 bed house in pleasanton? what's next? 🤷‍♀️ we need some more data on these sales tho... like, are they average incomes or what? 💸 want to know if this is a bubble waitin' to pop 🔴

I'm thinking, what's up with these super expensive homes selling left and right in Pleasanton? 🤔 It's like, yeah, they're nice and all, but $2.9 million for a house that's almost 20 years old? That's just crazy talk! 💸 I mean, I get it, the location is great and all, but can't we find a similar spot with a lower price tag somewhere else? 🤷‍♀️ Maybe someone who needs a new home and can't afford this kinda cash is gonna be stuck looking elsewhere. It's just not fair to those people 🤑.

It's crazy how much money these Dream Homes are making... I mean, I'm not surprised it sold for $2.9 million tho 🤑. I've seen homes in my neighborhood selling for like 50% of that and they're still getting a lot of interest. But at the end of the day, if you can afford it and have the space to enjoy it, why not right? The pics do look nice tho, all that outdoor space would be perfect for a family or just some relaxation time ☀️

Ugh 🙄, I don't get why people pay over $900 per sqft for a house 🤔. Like, what's so special about this one? The lot size is tiny, it's just 0.4 acres... and the price point is crazy 💸. And don't even get me started on the square footage of the neighboring homes that sold for less 😒. It's like they're trying to drive people crazy with all these high prices 🤯. I mean, what's next? Asking $1 million per sqft?! 🚫 No thanks!

😊 I'm feeling the FOMO over this gorgeous dream home 🏠💤! $2.9 million is a lot to drop on a house, but if you're looking for space and luxury, it's worth considering 🤔. The fact that neighboring homes are selling for such high prices makes me think that Pleasanton is really becoming the epicenter of upscale living 💫. What do you guys think? Are you in the market for a new home or just enjoying the view from afar 👀?
