HYBE America Names Comms Head — Plus, WME Touring Veteran Bounces to CAA

HYBE America has appointed Joanna Fuentes as executive VP and head of communications and public relations. In the role, L.A.-based Fuentes will oversee all internal and external communications in North and South America. She will be responsible for managing communications and PR for the company's music, film and TV projects, including Big Machine Label Group and Quality Control Music.

Fuentes brings over 25 years of experience to the position, having served in various roles at Warner Bros., HBO, Showtime Networks, Bravo, and CBS. Most recently, she was head of global communications for the WarnerMedia Studios and Networks Group and executive VP of worldwide corporate communications and public affairs at Warner Bros.

HYBE America's chairman and CEO Isaac Lee hailed Fuentes as a "world-class communications leader" with an "extraordinary track record of guiding companies through moments of growth, transformation and cultural impact." He praised her ability to connect corporate leadership, artists, and audiences, making her an invaluable addition to the executive team.

Fuentes expressed her enthusiasm for joining HYBE America at a defining moment for both the company and the global music industry. She is committed to helping define a bold, cohesive narrative that supports the company's continued expansion across the Americas.

Meanwhile, Tony Goldring has joined CAA as an agent in the global touring division. He previously spent 25 years at WME, where he helped expand touring opportunities for clients including Rihanna, Shakira, Pitbull, Alicia Keys, Duran Duran, Justin Timberlake, and Ms. Lauryn Hill. CAA's co-head of global touring Rick Roskin welcomed Goldring to the team, highlighting his depth of knowledge and experience as a valuable asset in supporting artists on a broader scale.

Other notable moves include Hayley Dukes' promotion to senior VP of licensing at ASCAP, Jamie Diamond's departure from UMG/UMPG to start a new chapter with her family, Jay Cruze's elevation to national director of radio strategy at Big Machine Label Group, and Molly Demellier's appointment as head of communications for Sounds Profitable.

😊 I gotta say, I'm loving the talent these industry folks are bringing on board. Joanna Fuentes seems like a total rockstar 💥 with her 25+ years under her belt - she must know what she's doing! It's no surprise Isaac Lee wants her leading HYBE America's comms efforts... CAA just landed Tony Goldring too 🤩, and I'm curious to see how he'll help artists expand their touring opportunities. I'm not sure what to make of the other moves yet, but one thing for sure - it's an exciting time in the entertainment industry! 💪

🤩 just heard about Joanna Fuentes joining HYBE America as comms head - 25 yrs exp is huge! 💼 She's gonna connect the dots between artists, corporate & audiences... super exciting times for music industry 🎵 #HYBEAmerica #CommsHero #JoannaFuentes

🤔 so joanna fuentes is now running comms for hybe america... 25 years of experience? that sounds legit but idk what her role at warnermedia studios and networks group entails 🤑 any specific numbers or achievements she can share about it? also, cAA just added another heavy hitter in tourin' with tony goldring... how's this gonna impact the artist side of things? will we see more rihanna-esque festivals pop up everywhere now? 😏

CAA just poached Tony Goldring from WME - that's gotta be good news for artists who want more touring options 🤝🌎 Fuentes joining HYBE America sounds like a big win too, her experience at Warner Bros and HBO is super valuable 💼📺 She's gonna help shape the company's narrative and connect them with their audience better 💬👍

just saw that HYBE America got a new comms head 🤩 joanna fuentes is lowkey a communications rockstar with 25+ yrs under her belt 💼 she's gonna bring some serious PR power to the table, especially with big machine label group and quality control music 🎶 can't wait to see what she does next 🔥

I remember when communication was so much simpler 🤣. Back in my day, we used to get by on snail mail and landline phones. Now everyone's a master of social media and online PR 💻. Joanna Fuentes is definitely a pro at her job - 25 years of experience? That's like me having experience with memes from the Stone Age 🤣. HYBE America seems to be getting a great team member, but I wonder what she'll do about those pesky music industry politics 🎵. And Tony Goldring jumping ship from WME to CAA? That's some serious talent on the move! I'm sure he'll help artists get more airtime and royalties 💸. It's always exciting to see new moves in the music business, even if I do feel like an old dinosaur just trying to keep up with it all 🐲💪.

OMG 🤩 just saw the news about Joanna Fuentes joining HYBE America 🎉 she's gonna be in charge of comms and PR 💬 gotta love her 25+ years of experience 💥 I'm thinking more ppl should take a cue from her expertise on connecting leaders, artists & audiences 🤝 #communicationgoals 👍

🤔 I just got back from the most random vacation to a tiny island in Greece and I'm still trying to process all the amazing food I ate there 🍴🌮. Have you ever tried authentic Greek gyro? It's literally the best thing since sliced bread 🤯. Anyway, back to music news... 25 years of experience is impressive, but have you seen those old video games from Joanna Fuentes' early days? 🎮 Like, I'm pretty sure she played Pac-Man in middle school 😂.

Just saw that HYBE America is getting a whole new comms team 🤔💬 with Joanna Fuentes at the helm. 25+ years of experience in the industry? That's like, whoa! 🙌 I'm curious to see how she'll help shape HYBE America's narrative and connect them with artists and fans across the Americas 🌎👥. It's always exciting when someone brings a fresh perspective (and skills!) to the table 💡. Can't wait to hear more about what she has planned for the company! 😊

just saw this news about hybe america's new comms head joanna fuentes 🤔 she sounds like a total rockstar with that 25 yrs exp I mean i'm late to the party but it seems like hybe america is making some solid moves esp with her leading the charge 💪 what do u think about all these changes happening in the entertainment industry?

Yaaas, Joanna Fuentes is going to slay it at HYBE America 💁‍♀️💫! 25+ years of experience in the industry? That's like, a whole lotta know-how 🤓! I love how Isaac Lee called her a "world-class communications leader" - she definitely knows what she's doing 💪. Can't wait to see what bold moves she makes for HYBE America, especially since it's such an exciting time for the global music industry 🎶🌟! Fingers crossed this is just the beginning of amazing things 💕.

idk what hybe america is doin, but i guess gettin some big fish in their pond? joanna fuentes seems like a solid pick tho, 25 yrs exp is no joke! hope she can bring some real juice to the table lol. gotta feel for tony goldring too, wme was his home for 25 yrs, good on him for makin the switch

🤣 So HYBE America just poached Joanna Fuentes from WarnerMedia and now she's gonna be the queen bee of comms? 25 years of experience is like having 25 years of practice in being awesome, right? And I gotta ask, what's up with all these exec moves? Is it a music industry talent show or something? 🎵👏 Tony Goldring just hopped over to CAA from WME and now he's gonna help artists tour like rockstars. Meanwhile, Joanna Fuentes is gonna try to connect all the dots between artists, corporate leaders, and audiences... kinda like trying to find the last donut in the office break room 🍩👀

I'm not surprised HYBE America is making big moves 🤑. Joanna Fuentes seems like a solid pick for comms head, but I'm not sure how her Warner Bros. experience will translate to the music industry specifically. Plus, with all these high-profile departures from other companies (WME's Tony Goldring to CAA), it feels like talent is jumping ship 🌊. On one hand, HYBE America is expanding its reach across the Americas, which is a great goal, but I'm worried about how they'll balance that with maintaining their artistic vision and not just becoming another corporate giant 🤔.
