I remember when Dan Marino was leading the team and they were always a contender. It's like they've lost that magic, you know? Mike McDaniel came in with so much promise, but it wasn't meant to be, I guess. His defense was solid, but offense-wise, he just couldn't get Tua going, despite all the hype

You've got to wonder if the team's ownership is really invested in finding the right coach and personnel to turn things around.
. The kid needs to take care of himself first. As for McDaniel, I think it's a tough break for him, coming in at 38 and just trying to make it work. But you've got to give the guy credit for what he did turn around in San Francisco
