538 lives lost in Iran protests

...can't believe we're at this point again. Death tolls keep rising & now it's up to HRANA to report on it. 10,600+ detained, internet & phone lines still shut down

. Iranian gov't is warning the US & Israel, but when will they take responsibility for their own actions?
Here are some stats to put this into perspective:
* 538 deaths (so far)
* 10,600+ detentions
* 3,280+ arrests (not just from protests)
* 90% of internet users are blocked
* Phone networks are completely shut down
We need more data on the economic issues that sparked these protests

. How many people are actually affected by the sanctions? What's the real cost of the US-Iran conflict?
Here's a rough breakdown of the demographics:
* 60% of deaths are civilians
* 40% are security forces
* Most detentions are of protesters, activists & journalists
* Women & minors make up about 20% of all arrests
It's time for some critical thinking

. Are these protests just a result of economic frustration or is there more to it? Can we find common ground between Iran & the West?
Let's keep analyzing this situation and share our thoughts!
