Cowboys' key piece in Micah Parsons deal now top trade deadline candidate

I feel like Jerry Jones is putting all his eggs in one basket with this trade. I mean, Parsons was the heart of their defense and now they're scrambling to find a new edge-rusher. Kenny Clark might not be the savior they need right now . He's still a solid player, but the stats just aren't translating on the field. Dallas needs more than one piece to click before they can start talking about making a deep run in the playoffs. Maybe Jones should've held out for a better trade offer instead of settling?

I'm still not convinced that Parsons was the problem . I mean, we all know Dallas had major injuries on D and it's a miracle they're even in a playoff spot right now . Clark's numbers are decent but let's be real, he's been playing for a team that's supposed to be dominant on D, not struggling like they are . If Parsons was so bad, why did the Packers want him so badly? Maybe it's just a case of losing your best defender and everything falls apart . The Cowboys need to focus on finding an edge-rusher ASAP or we'll be watching another disappointing season

Dude I'm literally wondering how jerry jones can still screw this up He trades Parsons and now he's trying to pawn off some old dude on us... I mean, Kenny Clark is cool and all but 3 pro bows don't automatically make you a game changer, you know? And let's be real, the guy's been struggling lately. I get it, we need an edge rusher but can't we just sign someone in free agency or something instead of giving up our draft picks?! The cowboys are literally begging for help on defense

omg have u seen clark's stats this year lol, not exactly setting the world on fire especially considering all the injuries they've had. i think jerry's trying 2 solve a problem that needs a bigger fix tho maybe clark's still got some good in him or maybe it's just time 4 d cowboys 2 rebuild their defense from scratch
