Blackhawks' Tyler Bertuzzi trying to maintain consistent production under Jeff Blashill

Tyler Bertuzzi is putting in the work to maintain consistency on the ice. The Blackhawks' new coach, Jeff Blashill, has been instrumental in helping him do just that. Bertuzzi's past few seasons have seen their share of hot streaks and cold spells, with last year being a particularly trying one. He's hoping this season will be different.

In September, the 30-year-old forward went to Blashill and asked for his guidance on how to smooth out his production over the entire season. The coach replied that he knows about Bertuzzi's streaky play and is looking forward to monitoring him throughout the year. One of the assistant coaches will keep a close eye on Bertuzzi, making sure he's not getting too hot or cold.

Bertuzzi has been quite productive since Blashill took over as head coach, with 14 points in his first 15 games under the new regime. He's also seen improvement in his chemistry with Connor Bedard on the power play, earning a promotion to the top unit during five-on-five play. Bertuzzi is taking things one game at a time and staying focused.

There have been some concerns raised about Bertuzzi's shooting percentage, which came in at 28.1% last season. However, he's worked hard to develop his skills and has found ways to score goals that are harder for goalies to stop, such as tap-ins and deflections around the net.

The Blackhawks' coaching staff is pleased with the progress Bertuzzi has made so far under Blashill's guidance. The coach knows how to get the most out of his players, and Bertuzzi is no exception. With a new normal established, it will be interesting to see if this consistency can become a staple for the 30-year-old forward.

As for other Blackhawks players, Philipp Kurashev has been having an excellent start to the season, averaging nearly 18 minutes per game and picking up 10 points in his first 15 games. Seth Jones is still searching for his first goal of the season despite playing a significant workload. Taylor Hall is looking like his usual self, recording eight points in 16 games in a secondary role. The rest of the team is still working to find their footing.

Bertuzzi's chemistry with Bedard has been one of the biggest storylines of the season so far, and it will be interesting to see how these two players continue to develop together under Blashill's guidance.

I'm loving how the Blackhawks are starting to come together under Jeff Blashill! ๐Ÿคฉ Tyler Bertuzzi is definitely putting in the work to smooth out his production, and it's awesome to see him taking things one game at a time. He's got a great coach in Blashill who knows how to get the most out of his players, and I think that's really paying off. Now, let's talk about Connor Bedard - he's been looking sharp on the power play with Bertuzzi! The chemistry between them is undeniable ๐Ÿ’ฅ. Philipp Kurashev is also killing it this season ๐Ÿ“ˆ, but I'm curious to see how the rest of the team settles in. Seth Jones is still trying to find his goal-scoring groove, but we know he's capable of more โšก๏ธ. And Taylor Hall seems like his usual self... now if they can just get everyone on the same page ๐Ÿค”, I think the Blackhawks could be a real force this season! ๐Ÿ‘Š

๐Ÿค” So I'm thinking, Tyler Bertuzzi is killing it right now under Jeff Blashill's coaching ๐Ÿ™Œ He's been working hard on his game and it's showing. 14 points in just 15 games is no joke! ๐Ÿ’ช But seriously though, what do you guys think about Bertuzzi's shooting percentage? Should we be worried that he's due for a slump or has he genuinely improved his skills? ๐Ÿคฆโ€โ™‚๏ธ

Also, how's your opinion on the team's overall performance so far this season? Are they playing up to expectations or is it a case of "we'll get there eventually"? ๐Ÿ˜

Bertuzzi's got a lot on his plate but he's handling it well ๐Ÿคฉ, I mean, 28.1% shooting percentage is a concern for some but he's working on it and adapting to the system ๐Ÿ“ˆ. I think it's cool that he asked Blashill for guidance, shows he's willing to learn and improve ๐Ÿ’ก. The fact that he's seeing improvements in chemistry with Bedard is huge ๐Ÿ”ฅ, these two are gonna be a dynamic duo this season. And yeah, consistency is key, but Bertuzzi's taking it one game at a time which I respect ๐Ÿ™. Can't wait to see how the rest of the season unfolds ๐Ÿคž

I feel for Tyler Bertuzzi, you know? He's always had a streaky thing going on, but I think he's really taken his game to the next level with Jeff Blashill at the helm ๐Ÿค”. The fact that he's been able to smooth out his production over an entire season is just incredible. And I love how he's taking things one game at a time and not getting too high or low, you know? It's all about staying focused and finding ways to score goals that are harder for goalies to stop ๐Ÿ’๏ธ.

I'm also super excited to see how the chemistry between Bertuzzi and Connor Bedard continues to develop. Those two are just meant to be on the ice together! And I think it's great that the coaching staff is keeping a close eye on Bertuzzi to make sure he doesn't get too hot or cold... haha, like they're trying to keep him in check ๐Ÿ˜‚.

But seriously, I'm loving the way things are going for the Blackhawks this season. It's clear that Jeff Blashill knows his stuff and is getting the most out of his players. Bring it on! โš’๏ธ

I'm not entirely convinced that Bertuzzi is actually improving his consistency ๐Ÿค”. I mean, 14 points in 15 games sounds good on paper, but how many of those points came from goals and how many were assists? We need some more data on this guy before we start jumping to conclusions.

And what's with the "new normal" established under Blashill's guidance? How do we even know that Bertuzzi is playing the same way every game now? Is there any evidence of him adjusting his strategy mid-season or making big changes to his game?

I also don't buy into the idea that Kurashev is having an excellent start ๐Ÿ™„. 10 points in 15 games might not be a bad start, but how many of those points came on the power play? We need to see some more depth before we start praising him.

And what about the rest of the Blackhawks team? They're still finding their footing and it's not like they've had the best coaching staff in recent years. I'll believe it when I see it that this consistency thing is actually going to pay off for them ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™‚๏ธ

the way bertuzzi is playing right now is super inspiring ๐Ÿคฉ, i mean, he's always had some big games but this season feels different, like he's finally figured out a way to maintain that level of production over the entire year... and it's not just about his own game, he's really elevating the chemistry with bedard on power play, which is exciting for the team ๐Ÿ”„. and yeah, bertuzzi's work ethic has been on point this season, it's great to see him putting in the time and effort to develop his skills ๐Ÿ”ฅ... of course there are some concerns about his shooting percentage, but like he said, he's working hard to find ways to score goals that are tough for goalies to stop ๐Ÿ’ช.

I'm telling ya, it's crazy how much better Tyler Bertuzzi has looked since that new coach Jeff Blashill took over ๐Ÿคฏ. I mean, 28.1% shooting percentage is still a bit high, but he's found ways to score goals that are way harder for goalies to stop, like tap-ins and deflections around the net โšก๏ธ. He's been taking things one game at a time and staying focused, which is awesome. The fact that Connor Bedard's been able to click with him on the power play is also huge ๐Ÿค. It'll be interesting to see if this consistency can become a staple for Bertuzzi, but I'm feeling good about it ๐Ÿ˜Š.

I think it's really cool that Tyler Bertuzzi is taking steps to improve his game ๐Ÿคฉ. He's been through some ups and downs in the past, but he's working hard with Coach Blashill to find a rhythm. I mean, 14 points in 15 games already? That's no joke ๐Ÿ˜…. It'll be interesting to see how he maintains this level of consistency throughout the season. Philipp Kurashev is looking fire too ๐Ÿ”ฅ, and it'll be cool to see more from Seth Jones when he gets that first goal ๐ŸŽฏ. The chemistry between Bertuzzi and Bedard is undeniable - these two are going to make some magic happen on the ice โœจ

man I'm loving this new season for Tyler Bertuzzi ๐Ÿคฉ! he's really stepping up his game with coach Jeff Blashill at the helm ๐Ÿ“ˆ๐Ÿ’ช and now we're seeing him put in work to maintain consistency ๐Ÿ”ฅ it's a big change from last year where he had those ups and downs but this time around I think he's got a system in place that's gonna keep him on track ๐Ÿ‘

and let's talk about his chemistry with Connor Bedard ๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ‘ซ, these two are like butter for each other on the ice ๐Ÿง€ it's so smooth to watch! they're really clicking and I love how coach Blashill is monitoring their progress to make sure they don't get too hot or cold ๐Ÿ˜Š

but what I'm really excited about is seeing how Bertuzzi develops his skills further ๐Ÿ”ฎ, like those tap-ins and deflections around the net ๐ŸŒช๏ธ he's working so hard to improve and it's paying off in a big way ๐Ÿ‘

I think Bertuzzi's work ethic has really paid off this season! ๐Ÿคฉ He was super streaky last year but now seems more consistent. I love that he went to the coach and asked for help, shows he's willing to put in the work. 28.1% shooting percentage is still a bit high, but if he can keep scoring those tap-ins and deflections, I think he'll be golden! ๐Ÿ˜Š And oh man, the chemistry between him and Bedard is just magic! ๐Ÿง™โ€โ™‚๏ธ It's gonna be so cool to see how they continue to develop together.

โšพ๏ธ so i think bertuzzi is making good progress this season and its great that he asked for coach blashill's help to improve his consistency ๐Ÿค he's been working hard on developing new skills like tap-ins and deflections, which are harder for goalies to stop ๐Ÿ“ˆ now the question is can he keep up a consistent level of production throughout the whole season? i think its awesome that he's taking things one game at a time and staying focused ๐Ÿ’ช

๐Ÿค” I'm telling you, this season is gonna be all about the hidden agendas. Bertuzzi gets a new coach and suddenly his shooting percentage goes up? That sounds like some kinda agenda manipulation to me. And don't even get me started on that power play unit with Bedard. It's like they're trying to distract us from something. I mean, have you seen Connor Bedard's stats so far? Too good to be true, if you ask me ๐Ÿค‘. The Blackhawks' coaching staff is getting a lot of attention, and I'm not buying it all... there's gotta be more to this story than meets the eye ๐Ÿ”

I'm lovin' what I'm seeing from Tyler Bertuzzi this season ๐Ÿคฉ! He's put in the work and it's payin' off big time. That new coach, Jeff Blashill, is straight fire ๐Ÿ”ฅ. The way he's got Bertuzzi focused on bein' consistent all season long, rather than just tryin' to get hot streaks goin', that's genius ๐Ÿ’ก. And to see him kill it with Connor Bedard on the power play? Game changer โšก๏ธ! I'm hyped for these two to keep developin' their chemistry and takin' their game to the next level ๐Ÿš€.

man I'm loving this new direction for Tyler Bertuzzi ๐Ÿคฉ he's like a whole different player now with Jeff Blashill coaching him... not that I didn't think he had potential, but Blashill knows how to get the most out of guys and it shows in Bertuzzi's game ๐Ÿ’ช the way he's been able to smooth out his production is huge for the Blackhawks, they really needed someone like him on their roster. and can we talk about his chemistry with Bedard? ๐Ÿ”ฅ it's like magic, I love how they're playing together and I'm excited to see where this season takes them ๐Ÿ“ˆ

So the Blackhawks' coaching staff is bringing up Bertuzzi's shooting percentage last season... reminds me of our electoral system - we need more focus on consistent results rather than just high scores. I mean, 28.1% might be a decent clip, but what matters most is if he can sustain it throughout the year.

And let's not forget about the role of assistant coaches in monitoring player performance... it's like having multiple branches of government to keep an eye on things. Too much power concentrated in one person or group and you get players like Bertuzzi getting too hot or cold. It's all about balance, just like finding that sweet spot for our democracy.

As for Blashill's coaching style, I'm not sure if it's a recipe for success... but I do know that what works on the ice can be applied to other areas of life, like politics!

omg u guys, bertuzzi is defo makin progress!! ๐Ÿคฉ his shooting pct last yr was crazy low @ 28.1% but he's worked so hard & its already showing in the stats ๐Ÿ“ˆ 14 pts in 15 games 4 blashill is a genius coach rn ๐Ÿ™Œ cant wait 2 c bertuzzi & bedard continue 2 develop their chemistry ๐Ÿ‘Š
