Blackhawks' Nick Lardis settling into NHL rhythm alongside Oliver Moore

Chicago Blackhawks rookie Nick Lardis is finding his footing in the NHL with the help of teammate Oliver Moore. The two have formed a close bond, often discussing their experiences and strategies after practice sessions.

Lardis's first few weeks in the league were high-pressure, as he was tasked with replacing Connor Bedard's production against Original Six teams. However, the Christmas break and subsequent flight cancellations offered a brief respite. As January rolled around, Lardis has settled into a rhythm, displaying confidence on the ice.

"I've kind of settled in," Lardis said. "I just want to keep getting better every single game. The confidence has always been there since game one, so I just want to keep showing that."

The young forward has shown improvement over his last four games, scoring points in consecutive contests and racking up eight shots on goal. While Assistant Coach Mike Vellucci notes that Lardis can speed up his shooting release, the rookie's intelligence and ability to score have been impressive.

One area where Lardis has excelled is shootouts. He has converted two of his first three attempts in the NHL, looking particularly comfortable doing so. Interestingly, Lardis wasn't a regular shootout performer for the Brantford Bulldogs last season, when he scored 71 goals in the OHL.

Off the ice, defenseman Louis Crevier has become a social media sensation among Blackhawks fans. His tall frame and fashion sense have led to many Instagram posts showcasing his outfits, which he insists are not premeditated. "I'm too tall to be fashioned," Crevier joked, as his account has seen an influx of followers.

As Lardis continues to grow in the league, it's clear that his friendship with Moore and the team's camaraderie will play a significant role in his success.

Hehe, I love how these rookie hockey players are killing it on and off the ice! πŸ’οΈ Lardis is like, "I've got this!" 😎 And his shootout skills? Mind blown! πŸ’₯ I'd draw a quick diagram of him scoring a goal in a shootout... /_/\

But seriously, it's awesome to see these young players forming close bonds and learning from each other. It's like they're all in on a secret 🀫. And Louis Crevier is just too cool for Instagram πŸ˜‰. Anyway, I'm rooting for Lardis to keep up the great work! πŸ™Œ

Man, I'm loving how Lardis is finding his groove! He was totally under pressure to step up from Bedard's shoes but now he's getting some confidence going 🀩. And can we talk about Oliver Moore being the ultimate teammate? They're like two peas in a pod on and off the ice πŸ˜‚. Lardis's shootout skills are straight fire πŸ”₯, I'm impressed that he killed it in OHL last season too! Crevier though, haha, who knew defensemen could be fashion icons 🀣...

omg can u believe lardis is finally finding his footing 🀯 he was getting roasted by fans after christmas but now he's like a whole different player πŸ’ͺ i love how oliver moore is helping him out tho, those two are def gonna be a dynamic duo on the ice πŸ’₯ and lol louis crevier on instagram? he's literally giving me fashion inspo 🀣 his tall frame is everything πŸ˜‚

You know how people think you gotta put on a show all the time? Like, Lardis was under so much pressure to perform right off the bat, but he took some time to chill out and figure things out for himself. And now look at him - settling into his role, showing confidence, and getting better with each game πŸ€”. It's all about finding that rhythm, you know? Not trying to force it, just letting things unfold naturally. And I think that's a life lesson we can all learn from 😊

idk why ppl r hyped about lardis tho πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ he's just another rookie tryna fill connor bedards shoes... newsflash: that ship sailed already, and now its on him to prove hes more than just a clone πŸ€” also, shootout skills dont mean much if hes still struggling with speed & shooting release 🚫

πŸ€” I'm loving the way Lardis is finding his groove in the NHL πŸ’οΈ. He was under so much pressure from the start, but now he's just enjoying the game and trying to get better with each passing day ⚑️. His chemistry with Moore is great, they seem like a solid team πŸ’―. And can we talk about Crevier's Instagram posts πŸ˜‚? The dude's got style for days and I'm here for it πŸ‘•. But what do you guys think about the Blackhawks' new generation of players πŸ€”? Are they all setting the bar high enough πŸ”₯?

πŸ€” I think Nick Lardis is really coming into his own on the ice... he's gotta keep working on that shooting release tho πŸ’οΈπŸ’¨, but overall, it's awesome to see him forming those bonds with his teammates, like Oliver Moore! πŸ‘« Those guys are already building a strong squad dynamic πŸ’ͺ. And can we talk about Louis Crevier's Instagram game? πŸ˜‚ the dude is serving looks in that fashion sense πŸ›οΈ... who knew being tall would make you a social media sensation? πŸ‘€

Crevier's style is fire πŸ”₯, who knew defensemen could slay the fashion game?

aww man, it's so cool to see nick lardis finding his footing in the nhl 🀩! i can only imagine how overwhelming those first few weeks must've been for him, trying to live up to connor bedard's expectations πŸ™…β€β™‚οΈ. but now he seems to be getting into a groove, and that's amazing to see πŸ’ͺ. it's also awesome to hear about his friendship with oliver moore - having a support system like that can make all the difference in overcoming challenges 🀝. and lol louis crevier is definitely slaying the fashion game πŸ˜‚πŸ‘•! keep crushing it, lardis!

πŸ€” seems like Lardis is definitely getting more comfortable out there on the ice... all that pressure from Bedard's shoes was bound to be tough for any rookie, but he's handling it pretty well now πŸ’οΈ 8 shots in the last 4 games? not bad at all πŸ’ͺ

omg did u see Nick Lardis's latest games?? he's getting SO much better!!! i'm low-key obsessed with him now lol his partnership w/ Oliver Moore is everything they need 2 get on that same page & strategize it's def making a diff in their gameplay, and honestly, shootouts r his STRONG suit lol who knew he was that good? luv how Louis Crevier is slaying the fashion game tho, I mean, who else can pull off those looks like they're not tryin' at all 8/10 would def root for them in playoffs 😊

Hehe, I'm loving how Lardis is finally finding his groove with the Hawks! The fact that he can already show confidence after just a few weeks is impressive. And shootout skills are always a plus 😊. It's awesome to see him form a bond with Moore and the team, I think that's huge for his growth as a player. But you know who's even more fascinating? Louis Crevier's Instagram account lol! Who knew being tall could be so stylish 🀣?

I think Lardis is lookin pretty sharp now, all this Christmas break and flight cancel thingy seems to've helped him chill out a bit lol. He was puttin alot of pressure on himself but he's seemin to handle it well 🀞. Moore's been super supportive tho, they make a great duo πŸ’•. I'm lovin how Crevier is killin it on instagram too πŸ˜‚, who knew defensemen could be fashionistas? πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ

πŸš€ The NHL is all about the hype cycle, you know? One minute you're the next Connor McDavid, and the next, you're struggling to find your footing on the ice. Nick Lardis's story is a perfect example of that. He came in with big expectations, but instead of panicking, he took a step back, breathed, and let his confidence shine through. πŸ’ͺ

And let's give it up for Oliver Moore, the ultimate wingman. Having someone to talk shop with after practice sessions can make all the difference. It's not just about on-ice performance; it's about mental toughness too. And when you've got a teammate who's got your back, that makes all the difference.

The Blackhawks' coaching staff is onto something by focusing on Lardis's strengths – his intelligence and scoring ability are legit. And that shootout skills? 🎯 Forget about it! But what I love most is how down-to-earth Louis Crevier is being about his newfound social media fame. It's a refreshing change of pace, you know?

The thing that really got me was Lardis's attitude towards growth. He wants to keep getting better every single game? 🀯 That's the kind of mentality that'll take him to the top. And with Moore and Crevier by his side, I think he's got a solid foundation to build on. πŸ’₯

just gotta say, its wild how much of an impact having a supportive teammate can make on someone's game 🀯 lardis is looking like a legit nhl player now, not just some rookie trying to fill bedard's shoes. and lol at louis crevier being internet famous for his fashion sense πŸ˜‚ the nhl needs more players who aren't afraid to be themselves off the ice. also gotta say, its cool that lardis is acknowledging he still has room for improvement, that level of humility is super underrated πŸ™

πŸ€” You know what's kinda weird about this young dude Nick Lardis? He's like, totally confident on the ice from game one, but you don't always see confidence in your rookie years. I mean, Connor Bedard had it easy going into him and now he's gotta fill those shoes... not an easy feat. But Lardis is looking solid, especially in shootouts πŸ’οΈ, who knew that OHL phenom wouldn't be a shootout master? πŸ˜‚

But what really gets me is how much this team has come together. I mean, Lardis and Moore are more than just teammates, they're like... buddies or something πŸ€œπŸ€›, sharing tips and all that jazz off the ice. It's cool to see guys working together and lifting each other up. The Blackhawks have a good thing going here πŸ‘.

Oh, and can we talk about Louis Crevier for a sec? πŸ˜‚ I mean, this guy is just... tall 🀣, but his sense of humor is even better. Who knew defensemen could be fashionistas too? 😎 I'm not sure if it's the tallest guy thing or what, but he's got style for days πŸ’β€β™‚οΈ.

Anyway, Lardis is doing alright for himself, and with Moore by his side, I think he's gonna keep improving πŸš€. Can't wait to see how the rest of this season plays out πŸŽ‰!

🀩 I'm loving how Nick Lardis is finding his footing in the NHL! It's awesome to see him build a strong bond with Oliver Moore 🀝, and it's clear that their friendship is going to help him grow as a player. And can we talk about Louis Crevier's Instagram πŸ˜‚? The guy's sense of style is on point, and I'm all for celebrating individuality! πŸ’– It's great to see the team's camaraderie shine through, and I have no doubt that Lardis is going to continue to improve with his teammates by his side 🌟.

He's definitely looking more comfy on the ice now πŸ€Έβ€β™‚οΈ, I guess all that Christmas break R&R did him some good! But seriously, Lardis is doing alright for himself, scoring points and showing off those shootout skills πŸ’ͺ. It's awesome to see him forming a bond with teammate Moore too - having someone to talk shop with can make all the difference in this league πŸ“£. And Crevier's Instagram account is just... interesting πŸ˜‚, I mean who wouldn't want to know what a 6'5" defenseman is rocking on his days off?
