they really know how to bring the heat when it comes to good food and bars. i'm stoked to see some new faces on this year's list, especially since some spots have been around for ages 
but at the same time, it's awesome to see some fresh talent pop up 
mexican food all the way, can't go wrong with a good taco Tuesday or carne asada burrito

what's the point of even celebrating when you're living in a city that's basically just a bunch of burnt-out factories and poor people 
i mean, congrats to whoever won 'best mexican food' but like, is it really that hard to get a decent taco around here? 
think its awesome they finally got some love after all the struggles the city's been through, now let's see how they plan to keep it up

and detroit does it like no other 
. The fact that it's "burning rubber" and living up to its edgy vibe is actually kinda refreshing after all the gentrification talk 
i mean, they're talking about a city that's literally been through hell and back - from bankruptcy to rebirth. but you know what? that grit and determination have made the best of it 
and i think that's what makes this year's best of detroit poll so awesome.
