omg i'm so hyped for detroit, been a fan of that city for ages 🤩🏎️ they really know how to bring the heat when it comes to good food and bars. i'm stoked to see some new faces on this year's list, especially since some spots have been around for ages 🙌 but at the same time, it's awesome to see some fresh talent pop up 👍 mexican food all the way, can't go wrong with a good taco Tuesday or carne asada burrito 🤤

OMG I'M SO STOKED ABOUT THIS YEAR'S BEST OF DETROIT LIST!!! 🤩 i mean, detroit has always been all about that gritty, no-nonsense vibe and it sounds like the metro times poll really captured that spirit. mexican food was a HUGE winner for me - i'm totally obsessed with the new taco spot in capitol park! 🌯️ can't wait to check out some of these other winners too... has anyone tried that new dive bar on canalside? 👀

Ugh, great, another year where the "best" in Detroit is just a bunch of overpriced bars and restaurants that cater to out-of-towners. I mean, who needs authentic Mexican food when you can have some watered-down taco truck nonsense that'll cost you an arm and a leg? And don't even get me started on the "divine" dive bars – just a bunch of old guys sipping on mediocre beers and complaining about the good old days 🤦‍♂️. The city's still got its grit, I guess, but it's just a fancy way of saying it's all about superficial stuff that'll never truly bring people together. Still, I suppose if you're into that sorta thing, go ahead and celebrate with these winners...

I'm loving how Detroit is still all about that gritty life 😂. Burning rubber, yeah, I can get behind that... especially after a few too many Motown shows 🎶🔥. But seriously, it's awesome to see the Motor City shining bright in all its culinary and nightlife glory! The winners of this Best of Detroit poll are gonna be pretty cool, I'm guessing – like, have you tried that new taco spot downtown? It's giving my stomach (and taste buds) a whole lotta love 🤤🌯. Now if only I could find a dive bar to rival some of those winners... guess I'll just have to keep searching for the perfect "dive-ency" 😂💡!

just great, another city winning some award 🙄 what's the point of even celebrating when you're living in a city that's basically just a bunch of burnt-out factories and poor people 😐 i mean, congrats to whoever won 'best mexican food' but like, is it really that hard to get a decent taco around here? 🤷‍♂️

omg I'm so stoked that detroit is taking the top spot 🎉🏆, i mean who doesn't love a city that's all about resilience & determination?! but what's with all the focus on "burning rubber" lol, is it like they're really embracing their rough past or what? 😂 anyway can't wait to see the full list of winners - I'm curious if they'll crown some new champions or stick with the familiar faves 👀

I'm loving how they actually asked people for their opinions instead of just deciding what's best 🤔. It's awesome to see all the different spots in Detroit come out on top, from food to bars and stuff. Some of these places I've been meaning to try out, can't wait to check 'em out! And it's great that the judges aren't afraid to get a little competitive – if you're gonna do something, do it right 🏎️.

OMG I'm so stoked for Detroit!!! 🤩 They really brought it this year, from 2Toms to La Lanterna, those hidden gems got the love 😊. My fave spot for a good Mexican fix has gotta be El Barrio, that salsa bar is 🔥. Can't wait to try out some of these winners with my squad 🤜🏻👯. What's your go-to spot in D-Town?

yaaas!! 🎉 detroit deserves it, been following all those campaigns on social media and i'm so hyped to see what made it to the top 🤩 can't wait to try out some of these winning spots, especially that new mexican spot everyone's been raving about 👌

The notion that Detroit has remained true to its industrial roots is both fascinating and reassuring 🤔. The fact that a city known for its perseverance has retained its 'burning rubber' spirit speaks volumes about the resilience of its inhabitants. This year's Best of Detroit poll, while subjective by nature, offers a captivating glimpse into the eclectic tapestry of the Motor City's dining, nightlife, and entertainment scene.

It's intriguing to consider how these distinctions can serve as a barometer for the city's cultural evolution. The inclusion of categories like 'diver bars' suggests an increasing emphasis on inclusivity and community, which is heartening in today's social climate 💡. Overall, this year's Best of Detroit poll serves as a testament to the city's unwavering commitment to its gritty, small-town charm 🏎️.

Detroit taking the top spot is pretty cool I guess 🤔. They really know how to keep it real and don't back down from a challenge, which I think is what won them that spot on the list. Their vibe seems super authentic and not too fancy, you know? It's all about being true to themselves and their roots. 🎉

omg i'm so hyped for detroit!!! they literally brought the heat with that metro times best of detroit poll 🚗💥 i mean, who doesn't love a city that's all about grit and determination?! burning rubber is basically their motto now lol. can't wait to try out some of these winners... mexican cuisine is already on my radar 💯🌯

omg u guys i'm so hyped for detroit's best of 2025 🤩, like i was following all the campaigning on socials and it was seriously intense. but honestly i think they deserve it cuz detroit is just so underrated, you know? all that gritty street cred just makes their food & bars even more fire 🔥. gotta say, mexican cuisine took home some major wins 🌯️ & my fave dive bar got top honors 🍺👏 what about u, have u checked out the full list yet?

omg 🤯 detroit really knows how to bring the heat 🔥 like who wouldn't wanna try that mexican food 🌮😋 or hit up a sick dive bar like joe's soul bar 🍺🎉 i mean i'm all about supporting local businesses 💼 and detroit does it like no other 🤠💪

I'm loving how Detroit is owning its reputation for being a city that's unapologetically itself 🤟♂️. The fact that it's "burning rubber" and living up to its edgy vibe is actually kinda refreshing after all the gentrification talk 💥. I mean, who needs fancy restaurants when you've got authentic Mexican grub and dive bars that serve up good ol' fashioned fun? 🍻🎉 The winners might not be on everyone's radar, but they're definitely making a statement about what makes Detroit special – grit, determination, and a healthy dose of weirdness 😂. I'm excited to see how these spots are gonna keep it real in the years to come! 👏

omg can you believe detroit took the top spot?? 🤯 i mean i love how they're all about that grit and determination vibe, but i feel like it's kinda weird they had a whole 'burning rubber' thing goin on 😂. anywayz i'm super hyped to see what the best of detroit looks like this year! i've been hearin' great things about some new mexican spots and dive bars that just opened up 🍴🍺. gotta check 'em out now!

detroit has always been about heart and hard work 🤘 i mean, they're talking about a city that's literally been through hell and back - from bankruptcy to rebirth. but you know what? that grit and determination have made the best of it 🙌 so yeah, i'm not surprised that the people chose their fave spots over all others. who wouldn't want to eat at a bar that serves up the best tacos in town or drink at a dive bar with the perfect beer selection? it's like detroit is saying "hey, we may be rough around the edges but we've got soul" ❤️ and i think that's what makes this year's best of detroit poll so awesome.
