Analogue's 4K remake of the N64 will, at long last, ship on November 18

Analogue's Long-Awaited 4K Remake of the N64 Finally Hits November 18 Ship Date

After multiple delays, fans of the Nintendo 64 can finally rejoice as Analogue has announced that its highly anticipated 4K remake of the classic console will be shipping on November 18. The $250 system, which was initially set to ship in the last quarter of 2025, is now available for pre-order, but customers who haven't secured a unit yet will have to wait longer as both the black and white variants are currently out of stock.

The Analogue Pocket's 4K remake uses an FPGA (field programmable gate array) chip to emulate Nintendo's original hardware, a technology that promises more accurate results than software-based emulation options. The system is also designed to offer lower input lag, making it ideal for gamers seeking a smooth and authentic experience on modern TVs.

Analogue has consistently maintained its promise of releasing the 3D in the last quarter of 2025, despite multiple delays earlier this year. Fans can rest assured that the system will support every N64 cartridge, including both PAL and NTSC variants, without any inaccuracies or slowdowns.

The Analogue 3D's specs are impressive, delivering a 4K output and supporting variable refresh rate. Users will be able to access original display mode filters to replicate the look of playing on an old CRT or PVM. This approach is expected to make the 3D the best option for playing N64 games on modern TVs using original cartridges.

The console features four ports for plugging in original N64 controllers, a USB-C power port, two USB ports for accessories, and an HDMI port. Additionally, the Analogue 3D includes a Wi-Fi chip that can be used for operating system updates. While there have been concerns about users potentially jailbreaking the system to boot ROMs from the SD card slot, this is highly unlikely according to the manufacturer.

With the November 18 ship date looming closer, fans of the N64 are eagerly anticipating the chance to experience their favorite classic games in a new and improved way on modern hardware.

OMG u guys!! ๐Ÿคฉ finally! Analogue's 4K remake is coming on Nov 18th!!! ๐ŸŽฎ I've been waiting for this day since like forever! It's so cool that it uses FPGA tech to emulate the N64's original hardware - it's gonna make playing N64 games on modern TVs a whole lot smoother and more authentic. ๐Ÿ’ป

And omg yes!! ๐Ÿคฏ it comes with 4 ports for original controllers, USB-C power, and HDMI port... like what more could u want?! ๐Ÿ˜‚ It's so great that they're including Wi-Fi chip for OS updates too!

I know some ppl were worried about jailbreaking to boot ROMs from the SD card slot... but Analogue says it's highly unlikely lol. Anywayz, Nov 18th can't come soon enough! I'm pre-ordering mine ASAP! ๐Ÿ›๏ธ

I'm thrilled to see the Analogue Pocket's 4K remake of the N64 finally hitting the market ๐ŸŽฎ! The delayed release was bound to happen, considering the complexity of emulating such an iconic console. I'm loving the fact that it uses FPGA technology for a more accurate emulation experience - it'll be fascinating to see how this translates to gameplay.

The inclusion of variable refresh rate and original display mode filters is a great touch, offering fans a way to experience their favorite N64 games in a more authentic setting ๐Ÿ“บ. I'm also stoked about the console's specs and feature set - four ports for controllers, USB-C power, and an HDMI port make it an attractive option for those looking to upgrade their gaming setup.

I do have some minor concerns about potential ROM hacking, but I'm sure Analogue has taken steps to mitigate this risk ๐Ÿค”. Overall, November 18 can't come soon enough - I'm eager to get my hands on one of these bad boys and experience the magic of N64 gaming in a whole new way! ๐Ÿ’ฅ

Just what we needed, another retro console that's gonna break the bank ๐Ÿค‘! I mean, $250 for a 4K remake is crazy expensive, especially considering it's just an FPGA chip doing all the magic. Still, if it delivers on its promise of accurate emulation and low input lag, I'm down to give it a try. And who knows, maybe it'll even bring back some classic gaming memories ๐ŸŽฎ๐Ÿ’ป

OMG, like, I'm so hyped for this thing ๐Ÿคฉ! Analogue's been teasing us for ages, but it's finally happening! I mean, think about it, they're putting out a 4K remake of the N64, which is just crazy, right? I've heard those original consoles were super finicky, so I'm stoked to see what kind of tech they're using to bring them into the modern era. That FPGA chip is gonna be key, fam! And the fact that it supports all the PAL and NTSC variants? Game-changer. Plus, four ports for controllers, a USB-C power port... this thing's got more ports than my old gaming PC ๐Ÿ˜‚. I'm low-key worried about people jailbreaking it to run ROMs from their SD cards, but I guess we'll just have to wait and see how that all plays out ๐Ÿค”. Anyway, November 18 can't come soon enough!

omg I'm so hyped about this 4K remake of the N64!!! ๐Ÿคฏ it's like they're bringing back the nostalgia with all the original features and specs intact ๐ŸŽฎ I mean, who wouldn't want to play Super Mario 64 in 4K with zero lag? ๐Ÿ˜ฒ and the fact that it comes with variable refresh rate is just wow ๐Ÿ’ฅ I'm definitely pre-ordering one, but I hope they restock soon so my friends don't get salty ๐Ÿ˜… anyone else excited about this?! ๐Ÿค—

๐Ÿš€ OMG you guys! I'm so hyped about this Analogue Pocket 4K remake! $250 is kinda steep but trust me it's worth it! They've been working hard to get it just right, and the fact that it uses FPGA chip for emulation is a big deal. It's gonna be so smooth and authentic on modern TVs ๐Ÿ“บ. And yay for all N64 cartridges being supported, no slowdowns or inaccuracies! The display mode filters are another nice touch, it's like playing on an old CRT again ๐Ÿ˜Ž. Four ports for controllers, Wi-Fi chip for OS updates... it's got everything! Can't wait to get my hands on this baby and play some classic N64 games in 4K ๐Ÿ’ป๐Ÿ‘พ

I'm stoked that Analogue's 4K remake of the N64 is finally shipping in Nov ๐Ÿ˜Š! $250 is a bit steep, but I get why they needed to invest in FPGA tech to make it super accurate ๐Ÿ’ป. The lower input lag and 4K output should be a game-changer for retro gaming on modern TVs ๐Ÿ“บ. I'm loving the fact that every N64 cartridge will work seamlessly, no slowdowns or inaccuracies ๐Ÿ™Œ. And those display mode filters are gonna be a trip to take our N64 gaming experience back to the good old CRT days ๐ŸŽฎ! The only thing that's got me a bit worried is the SD card slot... hope they don't get hacked ๐Ÿ’ธ. Can't wait to get my hands on one and play some GoldenEye and Banjo-Tooie in 4K ๐Ÿ˜†!

๐Ÿคฉ I'm so hyped for this! A 4K remake of the N64 is like, totally what we've been waiting for ๐Ÿ“บ๐Ÿ‘พ. The fact that it's using FPGA technology means it'll be super accurate to the original console, which is a total win for retro gamers who want an authentic experience ๐Ÿ˜Ž. And with all the ports and HDMI output, it's gonna be a breeze to plug in those classic controllers and play on modern TVs ๐Ÿ“บ๐Ÿ‘พ. The variable refresh rate and display mode filters are also gonna bring out some amazing colors and visuals ๐Ÿ’ป. November 18 can't come soon enough! ๐Ÿ˜ƒ

Wow ๐Ÿคฉ, can you believe it's finally happening? A 4K remake of the N64 after all these years! Interesting that Analogue used FPGA chip for emulation, sounds like a game changer ๐Ÿ’ป๐Ÿ’ธ. I mean, $250 is kinda steep but if it delivers on its promise, it'll be worth it ๐Ÿ‘.

Ugh, finally, but only because Analogue's been dragging this out for months ๐Ÿ™„. I mean, who needs that much time to get something right? And $250 for it? That's just crazy talk ๐Ÿ’ธ. But hey, 4K remake is a cool feature and all that jazz... but what's the point of playing classic N64 games on modern TVs if you're gonna waste your cash on an overpriced console that's already got delays ๐Ÿ•ฐ๏ธ. And don't even get me started on the Wi-Fi chip - are they really expecting people to play with their systems connected just to get updates? ๐Ÿ˜’

ummm, I mean, yeah, finally! ๐Ÿค” A 4K remake of the N64? That's wild. Like, I get it, nostalgia is real, but come on, $250 is a bit steep for me... ๐Ÿ˜… I've been playing games on my retro consoles and they're still giving me that nostalgic feel without breaking the bank. And what's up with the FPGA chip? Is that really necessary? It sounds like it might be overkill for just playing classic N64 games... ๐Ÿค”

just had to wait for like forever for this thing to get made lol its finally coming out on november 18th and i'm super hyped about it ๐Ÿคฉ anyone else been waiting for this? i mean yeah its 250 bucks but cmon its a n64 remake in 4k thats like the ultimate retro gaming experience ๐ŸŽฎ
