A Tragic Turn of Events on Staten Island: 6-Year-Old Girl Loses Fight After Fatal Crash
In a devastating turn of events, six-year-old Anheli Vasquez-Trinidad succumbed to her injuries just two days after being critically injured in a car crash on Staten Island. The young girl was hospitalized following the collision with an SUV at the intersection of Rockland Avenue and Forest Hill Road, which occurred around 10 a.m. last Friday.
According to authorities, Anheli was riding in a Honda when it collided with another vehicle, an Audi Q5, driven by a 50-year-old man. The Audi driver reportedly attempted to turn left onto Forest Hill Road, crossing in front of the Honda and resulting in the fatal crash.
Tragically, three lives were lost in the incident: Anheli Vasquez-Trinidad was pronounced dead at the hospital; an elderly woman, believed to be around 70 years old, suffered critical injuries but remains stable; and a 90-year-old man also perished. The 50-year-old Audi driver sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
The NYPD's Collision Investigation Squad is currently investigating the incident, with no arrests made thus far.

it just shows how quickly life can change and we gotta be careful on the roads, especially when we're ridin bikes or walkin to school 
. schools should really have more bike lanes and safe crossing zones for kids, that's my 2 cents
you guys I'm telling ya something fishy about this whole thing... like what's up with that 90 yr old man? How did he even get hurt in a car crash at 10 am if he was 90 already 
and how is the elderly woman still stable after a fatal collision? It's just not adding up 
and I'm also wondering why there are no arrests yet, what's going on with that Audi driver, was it some kinda setup? 
. And what's with the NYPD investigating but no arrests? Hopefully they'll figure it out soon... or should I say, when we get around to caring again 
. The fact that the Audi driver was speeding and didn't have his phone out doesn't make it better... accidents like these happen so rarely, but when they do, it's always a devastating reminder of how fragile life is 
this is so sad what was that old dude even thinking driving to the left on a busy intersection like that? 
i cant imagine how her fam is feeling right now. and btw, isnt Forest Hill Road some kinda park or something?

the driver of the Audi, yeah he needs to get his act together, thats so reckless

. And to think she was just riding in her own car with her parents, enjoying the morning drive... what happened next? 
We should all be more careful and alert while driving, for the kids' sake (and our own!)
