2 hospitalized after car hits building in northeast Houston, officials say

Two people were taken to the hospital after a car crashed into a building in northeast Houston's 6500 block of Tidwell, according to authorities. The incident occurred at an intersection, causing a black vehicle to lose control and collide with a blue car before crashing into the building.

Details are still emerging as investigators gather evidence. However, a sergeant on scene described the accident, stating that the vehicle fishtailed into the parking lot, hitting another car before making contact with the structure. Miraculously, both individuals involved suffered minor injuries.

ugh i just saw this on my news feed and i'm literally shaking 6500 block of Tidwell? that's like, so close to home for me how can something like this happen in broad daylight?! i know accidents can be super unpredictable but a fishtailing car hitting another car and then the building? wow. glad those two were okay tho minor injuries is all we got from it. hope they're gonna be alright. investigators are still gathering evidence, i guess that's good i suppose. makes me wanna check on my neighbors just in case

OMG what a close call!!! Two people lucky to be alive after that crazy crash . I'm glad no one was seriously hurt , but wow what a mess! Cars everywhere . How did it even happen? One minute they're driving down Tidwell, the next they're fishtailing all over the place . And to think another car got hit too . I hope investigators get to the bottom of this soon . The fact that they only got minor injuries is crazy, but still super scary. And to think it happened at an intersection with cars speeding by... the thought of someone losing control and fishtailing into another vehicle before hitting that building is just too much . This just can't be happening in our city . One minute you're driving down Tidwell, and the next your car is a wreck, smashing into buildings... it's crazy! I'm glad those two people made it out with minor injuries though - that's the good news, right?

I was on my way to work when I heard about this accident. It's always a shock when you hear about something like this happening at an intersection. Can't say for sure what caused it, but hopefully the authorities will be able to figure out what went wrong and make some changes to prevent it from happening again.

It's also just so frustrating that people have to deal with this kind of stress on their daily commutes. I feel bad for those two who had to go through it - I hope they're doing okay!
