I'm not sure if getting rid of the filibuster is such a good idea... I mean, it's meant to be a check on power, right? But at the same time, if it's really holding up progress, maybe it's worth reconsidering. It's like that old saying goes "with great power comes great responsibility"... but what does that even mean in this case?

And speaking of heroes, I'm so inspired by this heart transplant recipient! Running a marathon for charity is no joke... kudos to her for using her platform to make a difference. Harboring Hearts is such an important organization - it's amazing how something as simple as organ donation can save lives. Fingers crossed she crushes that NYC marathon

I'm still trying to figure out how Trump thinks we'd actually pass laws without the filibuster lol . I mean, I get what he's saying about it being a roadblock, but come on, it's been a part of our system for ages! And what would happen if all parties just agreed to work together and compromise? Wouldn't that be something?

But anyway, the NYC marathon thing is really cool. I love how athletes can use their platform to make a difference, you know? Harboring Hearts seems like such a great org and it's awesome they're getting some attention for it. Maybe we'll see more people get on board with donating organs and being transplanted, fingers crossed!

the filibuster thing is so confusing... i mean, it's like, the republicans want to do stuff but they're stuck because some people don't wanna let them . it feels like a big ol' game of musical chairs, except instead of chairs, its senators and bills .

i think it's cool that the transplant recipient is using her platform to help others though . i mean, who wouldn't want to run for charity in the NYC marathon? it's like, the ultimate motivator - you gotta be tired and hungry and still go out there and crush it .

anyway, back to the filibuster... i think it's a shame that some people are using it to block progress just because they don't agree with something . can't we all just get along and find common ground?

You know I'm all about analyzing politics from every angle . So, when Trump is talking about abolishing the filibuster, I gotta wonder, what's his real motive here? Is it really about passing legislation or just trying to muscle his way through Congress? I mean, think about it, if he can get rid of the filibuster, that's a huge win for Democrats too... just imagine how much they'd be celebrating . And on the other hand, a heart transplant recipient running in the NYC marathon to raise awareness about Harboring Hearts is really cool... but let's not forget, sometimes you gotta give back to society before we can talk about giving more . Anyway, I'm keeping an eye on these two stories and how they might intersect with each other. It's gonna be a wild ride!

Man, Trump's at it again, right? He thinks the filibuster is like that one aunt who just won't shut up, but instead of being annoying, it's a constitutional thingy that's meant to represent your fellow humans' opinions . I guess you could say the President wants to "filibuster" his way into passing some legislation, haha get it? Anyway, I'm all for him trying to move things along, but maybe he should've thought of that before tweeting about it 500 times like a broken record .

On a more serious note (just kidding, sorta), kudos to that heart transplant recipient for using her platform to spread awareness! It's amazing how these charity events can make such a difference in people's lives. I mean, who needs the NYC marathon when you've got a heart to give?

idk how i feel about trump wanting to abolish the filibuster ... on one hand it's like he's trying to get stuff done but at the same time it's kinda scary that he thinks it's a major obstacle lol. i mean isn't that kinda his job? what do u guys think tho?

I feel so frustrated hearing about this government shutdown... it's like, can't we all just get along? The thought of all those people affected by the shutdown is just heartbreaking. I know politicians have their own agendas, but it's really not fair to the everyday people who are suffering because of it.

I love that there's someone out there using their platform for good, though! That heart transplant recipient's story is truly inspiring and her charity work is amazing. It's great to see people making a difference in the world, even if it's just one person at a time. And I'm sure she'll crush that NYC marathon ... who knows, maybe she can inspire some of those politicians to make a change too!

I'm literally having a meltdown over this government shutdown thingy like I had my appendix removed last year and I still can't believe it's come to this... and now Trump is asking Senate Republicans to abolish the filibuster? I feel like he's making it harder for people who are already struggling . Like, what about the people who need help with their taxes or healthcare? Are they just going to be ignored?

And on a completely different note, I'm so inspired by this heart transplant recipient who's running in the NYC marathon to raise awareness for Harboring Hearts ! I've been thinking of getting a tattoo to raise funds for my favorite charity... maybe I'll do it before the marathon . Anyway, can someone pls just pass the legislation already?
