A multi-vehicle collision on the San Mateo Bridge resulted in one fatality and another person being injured, according to authorities. The incident occurred just before 3pm on Tuesday when a van and sedan collided between Highway 92. A Rooter Hero van was involved in the crash.
The California Highway Patrol confirmed that the passenger of the van suffered injuries but the extent is currently unknown. However, the driver of the vehicle was uninjured.
On the other hand, the driver of the sedan died at the scene and their identity will be revealed by the coroner after conducting a thorough investigation into their death.
Following the accident, authorities told drivers to turn around and travel in the opposite direction of the westbound lanes until they were reopened for traffic.

I'm tellin' ya, somethin's fishy about this whole thing... like what was that van doin' on the bridge, anyway? And a Rooter Hero van? That company's all about fixin' pipes and drains, right? What were they doin' out there in the middle of nowhere? And the driver of the van gets hurt but the other guy in the sedan... it's like, what was their deal? They were just drivin' along, minding their own biz, and then BAM! Dead as a door nail. It's all too convenient if you ask me

and I can only imagine how chaotic it must've been for drivers on Highway 92 during that time... poor people who have to deal with traffic delays just got a lot more stressful
