Critics Choice Awards 2026: Full list of nominees and winners

Critics' Choice Awards 2026: The Big Winners

The Critics' Choice Awards, held on Sunday night at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, Calif., honored the best film and TV projects released last year. This year's show saw a star-studded lineup of A-listers attending, including Timothée Chalamet, Ariana Grande, Leonardo DiCaprio, and more.

This year's biggest nominees were "Sinners" with 17 nods, followed closely by "Adolescence" which led the TV pack with six total noms. The film and TV projects were chosen from a list of talented actors and directors who delivered outstanding performances and achievements in their respective fields.

The big winners of the night included Timothée Chalamet for his role as Marty Supreme, where he took home the Best Actor award, beating out Leonardo DiCaprio, Joel Edgerton, Ethan Hawk, Michael B. Jordan, Wagner Moura, among others. The film "Sinners" ultimately took home two awards.

Jessica Buckley won the Best Actress award for her role in Hamnet.

The best supporting actors and actresses were also announced this year. Jacob Elordi took home the Best Supporting Actor award for his role in Frankenstein, beating out Benicio del Toro, Paul Mescal, Sean Penn, Adam Sandler, Stellan Skarsgard, among others. Amy Madigan won the Best Supporting Actress award for her role in "Weapons", beating out Ellen Fanning, Ariana Grande, Inga Ibsdotter Lilleaas, among others.

The limited series and movies made for television took home several awards including Adolescence which won four awards. Other notable winners include Stephen Graham who won Best Actor in a Limited Series or Movie Made for Television for his role in Adolescence, Sarah Snook who won Best Actress in a Limited Series or Movie Made for Television for her role in All Her Fault.

The best animated series also took home an award this year with the winner being "South Park".

Ugh, can't believe they still haven't fixed the streaming issues 🤦‍♂️. I mean, I know it's a big event and all, but seriously, how many times do we have to watch ads before we get to see the winners? And what's up with the lack of nominees for lesser-known indie films? It feels like they're catering more to the big studios than the smaller ones 🤷‍♂️. And don't even get me started on the red carpet - all these A-listers walking around, and I can barely see them because of the poor camera angles 📺. Just sayin'.

so like what's up with these awards? i mean its cool that people are getting recognized for their work, but 17 nods for just one movie sinners? feels kinda excessive to me 🤔. and oh yeah, timothée chalamet winning best actor was a surprise lol, didnt see that coming. amy madigan's win tho was sweet, i loved her in that tv show weapons 💁‍♀️. also glad to see south park won something, its always been my go-to animation 🤣.

omg i'm so hyped for timothée chalamet winning best actor 🤩 he was so deserving for that role as marty supreme. and jessica buckley's win for hamnet is a total shock but in the best way 😱 can't wait to see what they do next. also, amy madigan's win for weapons is like yay female empowerment 💪 love how adolescence took home four awards 🎉

I'm still reeling from the Critics' Choice Awards 2026! I mean, have you seen the lineup of winners? Timothée Chalamet is absolutely killing it - Best Actor for his role as Marty Supreme is well-deserved 🙌. And can we talk about Jessica Buckley's win for her role in Hamnet? She's so talented! 😍

I also love how the awards recognized some amazing limited series and movies made for TV. Adolescence is such a great show, and it's awesome to see Stephen Graham get the recognition he deserves 🎉. And Sarah Snook's win for All Her Fault is no surprise - she's been slaying her role for years! 👏

And let's not forget about "South Park" taking home the award for Best Animated Series. It's such a classic show, and I'm loving that it still has a huge following 🤣. Overall, I think this year's Critics' Choice Awards were just amazing - there were so many talented winners and nominees!

omg did u see that timothée chalamet won best actor?? i mean, i'm not surprised tho he's like the ultimate next leonardo dicaprio lol and girl jessica buckley took home the best actress award for hamnet 🤩🎉 i wonder how many times they had to rehearse their acceptance speeches before the actual show 🤣

I'm kinda surprised that more films from "Sinners" didn't take home more awards 🤔. I mean, 17 nods is a lot to handle and still only won two? Maybe it's just me, but I think Jessica Buckley was robbed of not winning Best Actress for her role in Hamnet 💔. And who else can say they've beaten out Leonardo DiCaprio?! 😲 Amy Madigan's win for Best Supporting Actress was so well-deserved though! She's always been an underrated talent 🙌. Can't wait to see what other amazing projects come out next year 👀

omg i am so surprised timothée chalamet took home that best actor award 🤩 he was like so good as marty supreme in sinners, but i thought leonardo dicaprio had a better shot lol. anyway, it's great to see more talented actors being recognized for their work. jessica buckley is amazing too, she played an incredible role in hamnet 💔 and amy madigan's win was so unexpected but yay for her! 🎉 i'm also loving that adolescence took home several awards, sarah snook's performance in all her fault was so underrated tbh 👏. south park as the best animated series tho? 😂 that's a fun surprise, can't wait to see what they do next 📺

omg I'm so surprised Timothée Chalamet won the Best Actor award, I mean Leo DiCaprio was a total front runner for that one 🤔🎥! I loved seeing Ariana Grande out there with her squad, it's always dope to see our favorite celebs vibe together 🌟. Jessica Buckley's win for Hamnet is giving me ALL THE FEELS 💖, I've been dying to watch that movie and now I'm even more hyped 😆. Jacob Elordi taking home the Best Supporting Actor award for Frankenstein is lowkey amazing, I loved his performance in that film 🎬! And can we talk about how epic it was seeing Stephen Graham win for Adolescence? The whole cast deserved those awards tbh 👏💫
